Betcha if your friends were PC players 5 out of 10 would start salivating at the topic of Oculus/Vive.
Every time I go into Memory Express I find someone that is currently building a rig specifically for VR. Myself included.
I sure hope you're right. Dont want you to be throwing around Bison bucks needlessly.
I saw a really cute trailer regarding how they use the Core to utilize different robots. It was a very cool video that showed a lot of emotion. I thought the idea of the player being the core and moving different robots added new play styles and kept it fresh.
Anyways, they had me right up until "X1 exclusive"
I already have an X1, so if I want those games I can buy them at any time upon release. The last game I played on my X1 was MCC and I hav...
The title really had me wondering WTF, but I have to give it to the author, he makes some really smart points.
Too bad. I would have gladly played this on Pc. Pretty unlikely Ill pick it up at all now.
I like the extra features GeForce brings to the table. This benchmark is the first game made with dx12 and it's not even the final version. Team green has engineers working round the clock on some new drivers.
I'm willing to wait and see.
Guy, this isn't a spacecraft. All new patches and drivers and such are automatically downloaded when you sign into steam. It's pretty much idiot proof nowadays. If you have an Nvidia card it tweaks the games automatically for optimal card performance.
And give it a rest with the PC arms race. If you want the best performance, you're gonna have to pay for it. Or, you can play games at medium settings for a medium price.
There are just too many perks to being a PC gamer to just back off and go straight console.
It could possibly be more popular than boxing itself.
As long as I enjoy it, who cares about the casuals.
A dog killing a human with a knife sounds like the dumbest thing ever, ever.
Steam is giving away their VR tools in SteamVR and is also helping developers along the way with their projects.
Im just amazed at the support Valve is giving to everyone. They are really pushing VR to be viable, and that makes me a lot more comfortable in saying that this Tech is here to stay.
Im anxious as well to see the Morpheus head to head against the Oculus. The Rift needs a pretty strong PC to run it (GTX 970+i5) so Im wondering if Sony found some clever shortcuts, or if it will be a different experience altogether.
Back in July "the studio founder Sean Murray noted he didnt know what he was 'allowed to say' in terms of possible VR support in recent interview with Edge."

Ive read other articles in April regarding using VR for NMS, but this was the most recent clipping.
I think its going to happen. This game was MADE for Morpheus/Rift/Vive.
Quite frankly, with the flat surface of the PS4 you can design and print any decal you want. Decal paper is cheap and you can do full 8.5 X 11" sheets. Ive added decals to a few of my consoles/PC. Its fun and I like the custom looks you can create.
Im really hoping you can get that games bundle separately eventually. Those were some of the best Star Wars games to date. I thought Bounty Hunter was criminally under-hyped.
I am loving this game more the more I hear about it. A true G1 Transformers game is 25 years overdue.
VR has its place. It's not everything, and it's not something you can dismiss. I personally see this tech going very, very far.
The Vive is my personal choice. Having Valve/Steam back it only increases my optimism. I can't wait to see SteamVR officially launch this October and see what they have to offer.
On the flip, I hope that Oculus store has HMD agnostic games. Oculus has some incredible games in development. It would be a shame to miss out.
To be honest though, I can see me owning both headsets eventually.
Once you try VR, your view of gaming and media will change forever. I guarantee it.
