Fact is, some people still can't play the game they paid for 4 months ago. If you ask me, WB stole from them.
This...seems almost too good to be true.
2 of my PC buddies are waiting on their Steam Controller to arrive. General consensus is that Elite too pricey right now. But I mean, everything is relative. A descent mouse and mechanical keyboard will run up to $150 or more.
Personally I need another controller like a hole in the head, but you know how temptation goes...
PC now has native controller support. I was waiting for a while on this. Glad they were able to port it over from console.
@Chris
Thats gonna be a beast of a rig when you settle on your GPU. I recently built one very similar. Overclocking that CPU couldnt be easier. Im still waiting on HBM GPU cards to drop so I can get my VR fix.
PCpartpicker, god bless them.
Nice. They updated the HUD nicely as well. Im really looking forward to this one.
What are you putting in the new rig?
I dont think Lego will be taking on Assassins Creed anytime soon...
A game about assassination being too violent. SMH.
Maybe, Oh I dunno, play a game rated for children?
@Pappy
No evil agenda here. I was greatly looking forward to the X1 wireless controller to work with my PC. Now it looks like I'll have to wait even longer to use it.
I'm not interested in upgrading to Win10 quite yet, and I would hate for someone to get burned thinking the same.
Maybe Stephen Harper can play a villain in the next Deus Ex. He has those soulless eyes and evil banality about him.
Why not try Steam link to play in your living room? It's only $50 and can save you some labour. Then you can keep rocking whatever controller you currently use provided its wireless.
@Kaleb
I hear ya there. I'm not willing to commit to the new OS yet. Looks like we see the dark side of the free upgrade. "Upgrade to Windows 10 for free!.....or we will assimilate you anyways."
Hope you have Windows 10. Apparently you need it to play the controller. "Available for Windows 10 PCs, devices and tablets."
Can't wait for their follow-up report "Videogames cause violence" for the 100th time.
Very wise. I don't game much over Xmas with traveling and such, so most games I buy in 4th Q end up uninstalled till deep in the new year.
Maybe it was a missed opportunity to add the depth to the game that has players upset.
How disheartening. How in the world are they going to hit the November release? Their only hope is to beat Oculus out of the gate. So far no PR beyond the Vive demo truck.
I have to wonder what the long game strategy is.
Why a Bluray player? 100% of my PC library is digital.
Check out PCpartpicker or Toms hardware if you don't think budget PCs are formidable.
SteamOS drops Nov 10 so keep your eyes peeled. I'm not sure how successful it will be, but it may save $120 on your next build.
I'm looking forward to dual-booting with Win and SteamOS.
I would love to see who contributes to the Stealth Disagrees.
The disagrees dont really bother me, my views are usually divisive, but the fact there is no ownership to them lets people disagree with reckless abandon. They dont have to offer a counterpoint, just a simple click and they feel like they contributed by knocking you down.
