If you ever owned a 3DS, it won't come as much of a surprise. Little beauty is almost portable perfection. Plus they have a massive catalogue of quality titles and is backwards compatible. Hard to beat all that for $150.

While Im not too fond of EA at the moment, the world deserves another Rogue Squadron. With VR support.

I would do terrible, terrible things to get another Star Wars: Pod Racer.

Probably because I have 8, count em, 8 360 controllers. I would rather utilize the ones Ive got than buy new controllers. Plus I game on 3 levels on my house, so I dont want to buy 3 X1 controllers.

Id rather save up and snag the Elite when its back in stock ;)

Now if they could nail down 360 support, I would buy 3 of them.

Good on Microsoft to turn around and add support for the legacy OS.

Good choice. They have reviewed very well. And that price is hard to beat for a quality set.

I can actually get behind this controller design. Custom backgrounds and some slick visual cues could make this one a real winner!

For how much I didnt care for the Wii U Gamepad, somehow combining it with the Wii U Pro Controller seems really exciting.

Because: Society.

Gun control and mass shootings are on the heart and lips of every SJW. Video games still have a bad reputation with the publics perception of a gamer; they are violent, they train you to kill, he was always a loner, they desensitize you, etc.

Look at Hatred. People instantly condemned it even before release. I can fully admit some games go for Shock Value, but Society as a whole are way too pumped up on PC values at the moment.

@genova

Holy Jesus!! I've never played AC syndicate so I cant say for sure what the specs are, but thats outrageous considering even the mighty Titan only has 12Gb VRAM.
I hope to hell thats not a sign of things to come.

@Flamewater - I just went from a 670 to a 980Ti in my one rig and I had to visit the burn ward after my face melted clean off. I cant wait to see what the next gen brings.

Summer GPU's will be very VR oriented. HBM is the new tech for the next gen cards. I would be very surprised if they focused on VRAM off the start considering not a lot of games use up. I havent come close to filling up 6GB in my Ti. And the texture packs in Shadow of Mordor were hard to distinguish from the regular game anyways.

Steam may not be for everyone, but damn I have a hard time living without Cloud Saves. GTAV really showed me how much I need it for running multiple rigs.

Kind of a thin article, but you cant go wrong with a great pair of cans. I highly recommend the Logitech G930's if you are looking for wireless headsets.

Personally Im holding out for an Acer Gsync Monitor. Hopefully that will tide me over till some VR HMD's start rolling out.

PSVR will find their stride eventually. New tech always has growing pains trying to find its identity. This is just the very beginning of a budding market. It's only going to get better from here on out.

Luckys Tale.

That's no joke. This game will revolutionize platformers.

I was referring to the 6' hardwired tether they add to the dongle for some stupid reason. Apparently Microsoft hasn't heard of a USB extension.

Hey thanks for adding Steam Accounts to the profiles. Always feels good to be included.

Not really worth it for consoles. Its almost the opposite of why it works for PC: consoles are already locked in at 30/60fps and the refresh rate of avg TV is 60hz. While limiting fps isn't exactly the same as Vsync, if your rig churns out 60+fps, then you will notice quite a bit more screen tearing than if you were in the same ballpark of 60fps/60hz. Since consoles do 60fps and below, your tv should refresh often enough that it will catch the images your gpu produces.

...

Competition please. I really hope this brings down the price of Gsync. I dream of a world where almost every monitor has freesync/gsync capabilities. The benefits are amazing. Bye bye Vsync!

I'm afraid that's a sign of things to come. MS will eventually force you to "upgrade" to Win 10 by only supporting the OS.
It's almost passive aggressive campaign. "Hey! How about a free OS upgrade? No? Well too bad!!"

There is literally nothing holding Microsoft from releasing this dongle for any OS. They are doing this for selfish reasons.

Too bad they couldn't add 360 controller support. Seriously, that 360 dongle is an abortion.
