Why is it that whenever I read about exclusivity or timed exclusivity of some game, it's always about the XB360, and never for the PS3? I don't get this.
Anyone else completely sick of hearing from this guy? Every time I read anything related to EA, it makes me nauseous.
And f**k Riccitiello in his smug, out-of-touch, never-played-a-game-in-his-lif e ass.
EA sucks a big one.
Serious, eff their monopolizing, franchise-killing asses already. Someone needs to put an end to their sickening practices.
A) She's a copycat.
and
B) She's not that hot from the neck up.
I'm STILL reading through the article, trying to find any evidence that these guys realize that the PS3 has 512 mb of total memory, not half of 360 like they're saying. Whenever I start to read something like this, where it looks like someone got this obvious fact wrong again, I really try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But they fail me every time.
Not only that, but you see flagrant signs everywhere in that article that this guy has absolutely NO CLUE what he's talking a...
Then again, after looking at the video more closely, there are some aspects of the graphics that impress me on a technical level, such as the large scale of the environments, nice set design with the retro, 50's under-construction Chicago, and good detail to the levels considering the size and scale. The enemies, such as the Grim, seem to have nice detail when they get up-close also.
One slight bummer, at least to my eyes, however, is the apparent lack of dynamic lighting; it see...
Yeah, I definitely notice framerate drops too. This isn't COD4 with it's blazing consistent 60 fps or anything.
You are now part of The Borg. Everyone else must be assimilated into our collective. Those that are not must be destroyed. They will be assimilated.
Gamers really have a lack of perspective and are out of touch with how the real world works if they think 2 points of maximum variation is considered an extreme "score discrepancy." Jesus christ, get a grip on reality; that is in no way shape or form a sign of biased critics or extreme disparities in opinion. That's NORMAL VARIATION OF REVIEWER OPINION.
That's the way the REAL WORLD WORKS: People have different opinions. A max 20% in variation is considered homogeneous ...
I'm amazed that some are touting this game as "360-quality graphics." It's clearly not even the best visuals on the Wii.
A, not everything revolves around this game Crysis. And B, Far Cry 2 will probably turn out to be a MUCH better game overall.
Read up on any preview of what the game is about, and you'll see why.
Repeat after me: "There's nothing wrong with sex. There's nothing wrong with sex." Your testicles aren't going to fall off if you have sex or masturbate too much; you're not going to hell if you think of girls' boobies.
Graphically, it's an improvement, but not a vast improvement. I'm a PS3 fanboy, but I'm honestly not TOO amazed by what Insomniac has thus far. The graphics aren't a HUGE, huge upgrade from Resistance 1 like I was expecting or hoping for (at one point, based on the early scans, we were actually thinking along the lines of a competitor to Crysis!), while the gameplay looks rather conventional. As far as upcoming FPS games, I'm more looking forward to Killzone 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, and maybe...
Yeah, the guy was so naive for actually assuming that a console color labeled "Gun METAL Grey" would actually look somewhat metallic!
Geez, I thought this thing looked sorta cool from the press photos, but this looks pretty bad. Not only does is new color boring and dull, but the "Metal Gear Solid 4 - Limited Edition" text on top of it looks extremely haphazard and ugly. Both the Silver and the White models look much better than this.
Actually, 1080p/i users get better image quality (more vertical resolution) than you 720p owners.
What if you want to make conversation with amicable people, talk to your friends, or don't want to have to individually single out and mute each and every random hateful bigot that happens to come your way?
It's also easier said than done to have the clarity of mind to "just ignore them" when someone really pisses you off or upsets you. Many people wouldn't have that kind of Ghandi-like perspective when a heated exchange is taking place.
I think Sessler rules for taking such an angry, vehement, and unadulterated stance against racial and homophobic idiot bigots out there in the online gaming community, and calling/cursing them out like that. Bravo.
I do find it a little curious that Sessler's the one making these statements, because I always personally thought he had a slight gayish lisp to his voice when you speaks. Is it just me, or does anyone else get that from him?
I love the game, but that has been one of my biggest complaints/disappointments thus far: Too much. Too many choices given to the player, too much freedom... too much of everything allotted to the player, especially in terms of your arsenal. Consequently, it made the game TOO EASY. Even on Big Boss Hard, I felt a disturbing lack of any real challenge--you very rarely felt like you were in any real kind of trouble or risk of losing/dying. To me, all this liberal amount of weaponry and gadgetry...
