And then EA's prolly gonna try to spin this as not having seen the "creative and artistic potential or merit of releasing yet another movie franchise cash-in," when the truth of the matter is that the real reason is the last Batman game they made was a flop, so they didn't predict the sales potential of this one.
EA = money-focused slimebags.
Right, because an experience like MGS4 is best enjoyed/relished on a 20" monitor on an office chair instead of a 50+ inch screen on a couch. Not mention, it's "hardcore, maaaan." *rolls eyes*
I guess that's why everyone watches their Blu-rays and DVDs on their computer.
There are also more stupid people in the world than there are smart ones.
This honestly seems like a total nonissue to me, and not a real legitimate reason to despise Gamestop in and of itself. If I were to reserve a game at a store, there's no way in hell I'd just forget it. Maybe it's because I don't reserve that many games at a time, but by the time a highly-anticipated title finally comes out, I know exactly all the details of which location I plopped five bucks for on MGS4, or five bucks on Assassin's Creed.
This is a nonissue that for the most pa...
Shameless perv is redundant; there's shame to being a "perv." It's called being a heterosexual male.
EA just makes me sick to my goddamn stomach.
If they have Take-Two, they don't NEED EA.
Um, no. Sequels do NOT need to hurry the hell up. I'd rather have developers take their merry ol' time crafting a quality game and story with 3-year release cycles than rushing them out for quickest cash-in turnaround. A lot of the quality, critically-acclaimed games should have sequels that are big events when they finally come out, not go the Ubisoft or EA route of churning multiple iterations of their franchises over and over, ultimately killing perception of quality of the series.

Newsflash: Fallout 3 doesn't have prone either. ;)
Since when was Counterstrike sci-fi/fantasy?
Does this thing come with a man eating shark?
I just think the guy's a tad self-centered to think that he would absolutely be the best screenwriter for the job. I know he has X2 to his credit, but still.
Keep in mind the power of suggestion on perception, the possibility of bias on a platform-specific website, and the general unreliability of visual accounts. If the PSU editor started giving specific ways in which one version looks better, I'll be more inclined to believe him.
Finally, we see some footage of the PS3 version. Every video we've seen up to now has been running on 360.
Can't you tell? He's McLovin from the movie Superbad.
So does this confirm that GOW3 gameplay was shown behind the scenes at E3?
Where do I sign up?
What PC fanboys, you ask? Judging by your not-so-subtle remark about "console fanbabies," you are one of them.
Fall of this year. No exact date given yet, even though some websites list a temporary release date of October 1st.
I think the bigger issue here with the decreased reception is that it's a port. Game companies can't expect to be lazy and simply lead-develop a blockbuster title on one platform, and then simply more-or-less do a port over to another platform and expect equivalent ratings. When ports are involved, quality is always diminished one way or another, and one party or another will be alienated, and not feel tailored to.
