No. Gameplay. Footage.

The game sounds really promising though. Hopefully it gets ports on next-generation consoles soon after release, because I'll have moved on by that time.

@sobekflakmonkey:

IGN gave Black Ops 2 a whopping 93% score--a game that really doesn't advance the franchise in substantial or meaningful ways, and in fact takes a few steps back with laggy netcode that renders the multiplayer experience nearly unplayable half of the time.

Meanwhile, the same IGN gave Far Cry 3--generally considered by the gaming community to be the best FPS of 2012--a lower score at 90%.

That should tell you something a...

Even $45 a year is too much, considering I pay nothing to play online on PC and PS3.

Saying that XBL is 100x times a better service than PSN or Steam is a bit of a stretch, if not an outright lie, by biased fanboys that need to self-justify their costs.

@andibandit:

Microsoft's "good security?" By good security, you mean how Microsoft's Hotmail gets hacked every so often? Or how Xbox Live accounts still get stolen on a daily basis?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or if you're really that stupid.

Only fanboy I see around here is you.

Most of the legitimate-sounding rumors and leaked specs indicate that the PS4 will have a sizable proccessing advantage over the Xbox 720. Where have you heard that the 360 will have a "custom GPU?" All the leaked specs indicate that both consoles will use off-the-shelf parts (8-core AMD CPU, and AMD GPU).

It's going to be funny to see a sad, pathetic fanboy like you being forced to cling to a console with i...

COD hasn't been good since the past several installments. Severe lag issues crippled the gameplay and any chance of enjoying the meat of the series--the multiplayer. The single-player campaigns are uninspired affairs.

Nothing is impossible, considering that much of animation nowadays are headed towards Flash-based animation, using morphing and skeleton techniques, in lieu of the traditional "hand paint every frame" cel-based animation of days past. The latter being extremely time-consuming.

Maybe not sprites and assets created 4K resolution, but sprites that look this good but designed for 480p could be possible.

DOOM 64 was freaking awesome--one of the better N64 exclusives. Old-school DOOM gameplay, but better graphics, more atmosphere, and a tense ambient soundtrack.

Then why does every COD-rehash keep being the best-selling game every year?

I've heard some people even complain about the $5 price point for this game! They seem to believe it should be free. Is it really that short/insubstantial an experience?

I remember paying $5 for games like fl0w and X-Men Arcade on PSN. It's hard to imagine how people would complain about $5 for a game that looks like a solid, well-made experience (based on the trailer).

The graphics look great. Reminds me of Condemned.

How would cross game chat work then? Simple: No cross game voice chat for PS3 users. I don't get what you're confused about.

Most games are trending towards super-short nowadays, yet some people want them to be even SHORTER? Sorry, but if you're going to make shorter games, then sell the game for a lower price ($30 sounds about right if the game only lasts about 5-6 hours).

Hell, even in multiplayer terms, games like Planetside and Dust 514 are FREE, and can potentially give you hundreds of hours of enjoyment. I've been playing Hard Reset: Exile and Amnesia, two great games that are refresh...

Lol. So this guy's argument is that, because he gets scared easily, he thinks the more action-oriented approach and dumbing down of survival-horror aspects in Dead Space 3 (and pretty much every other game daring to call itself survival horror nowadays) is a good thing?

Thank god there's still games like Amnesia and Slender.

@Ashunderfire86:

I have to agree with you on the mental health factor. The biased news media would seemingly rather blame the killings on every single little thing EXCEPT the killers themselves, and their possible mental health issues/psychosis.

They make it seem like this deranged sick pathetic killer, Adam Lanza, was a victim himself or something.

The funny thing is, I defend the NRA and the Second Amendment, but then those assholes come ou...

Did this guy just seriously say that the PS2 was a "doomed console?" The most successful console in gaming history? I'm trying really hard to see the sarcasm in his comment.

The fact is, relative to other consoles, and relative to the fact that money is made on software, a $21 dollar hit per unit sold is miniscule. Sell just one game, and they've already made that money back.

"Moot point, the argument was whether or not the loss/console was minuscule."

Lol, the word "miniscule" is a relative term. Obviously, $84 million isn't miniscule to an average Joe like you or me. Hell, $50 bucks isn't miniscu...

The news media is a joke nowadays, with as much bias and agendas to push as you'd expect tabloid magazines to push. It makes me cringe just watching this so-called "objective reporter" making phony faces/expressions and pretending to be offended while editorializing about gun violence.

Why can't reporters just provide the news, instead of trying to force feed certain emotions or opinions down the audience's throats? They must think the general public is ...
