It's true. All PS1 games, downloaded or on disc.
The PS1 Remote Play thing is true. You can now play any PS1 game (download or disc) on your PSP through Remote Play. Remote Play works anywhere with a WiFi connection, or it can connect through your PS3 locally (the PS3 acts like a hub of sorts).
That's right, you can now lay in bed with a bag of Cheetos and play FFVII. Or take a vacation to some exotic location and play FFVII in the hotel the entire time.
That is a pretty amazing stealth update...
It was probably just a user error that went unnoticed because the user was happy to find it.
Does the 360 allow voice chat in offline games? I want to believe it does, but I'm not sure. I would LOVE to have that on PS3 through the XMB. I'd like to be able to play Uncharted or something and talk to someone while they're doing the same.

God of War III will be great, they haven't let us down yet with graphics, story, or gameplay. I've played a demo of the PSP game and it's equally impressive; it looks like a PS2 game. When it comes out it'll probably be the best looking game at the time. They also set the story up wonderfully with God of War II. This game is going to be epic, maybe even the last in the series. It'll move systems for sure. Day one for me.
Whoa, since when is this coming to PS3? I remember seeing this game a while back when it was PC exclusive (before Sony got NCsoft) and wishing it would make its way to PS3 somehow. Are they just assuming that since NCsoft is working for Sony that this game will be ported to PS3, or has it been confirmed?
I'm sorry but some of that was hilarious. Friendly Uncle made me laugh. Some of the stuff was disturbing though. Threatening to hang him was definitely uncalled for.
Also, I'm sure I could get some attention if I called myself "StraightDude69" or something. He brought that on himself.
I've come to the conclusion that Ubisoft just can't develop for ****. Rainbow Six on PS3 was enough to make me boycott them, this just looks worse.
I can't wait for this game. It's a shame that the U.S. release date is so far off. Wish I understood Japanese.

While his opinion isn't reputable, the fact that he at least has a valid opinion is worth note for anyone interested in the game. Professional scores seem to be all over the board on this game, and it's also lacking reviews. I'm interested in what anyone who's had time with the final build has to say about it.

You do have to stay online with both your PSP and PS3, but what you might be missing is that you can be online from anywhere with your PSP. So wherever you have WiFi, you can turn your PS3 on from standby and access a PS1 disc.
