You've hit the nail on the head there! Playstation fans are a cancer this generation!
I am a GAMING fan through and through, so anything that helps us play together, in my eyes, is great news! So to have such an enormous part of the gaming community blocked out by pretty selfish ideals is really crappy!
To be honest, it is very backwards of them to not get on board with this. They know they have a player base large enough to survive alone and for that reason they don't want to support any cross play, despite their players wanting it!
Not including PC, I play my PS4 probably 70% of the time, and then my Xbox One the other 30% (if that tbh...) I have a good group on friends who only play Xbox One, but sadly a larger group on the PS4 so as much as I would like to play wit...
The painful irony of this is that (as far as I know!) Bungie left Microsoft because they weren't given much creative license. Now that they are with Activision, who have to be one of the most money hungry publishers out there, they have probably found themselves in a very similar boat!!
They found a winning formula like Halo and now Activision wont let them stray too far off the beaten path. The questions about new classes etc were cringe-worthy, they don't want to ...
Developers may not utilise the extra power of the Xbox One X, but don't beat about the bush. 20/30% extra power isn't "a bit", it's quite a substantial amount. The PS4 was a bit more powerful than the Xbox One and that did achieve noticeable results when you compared the two.
If developers actually fully utilise the One X we should see a margin of difference between the two.
But... they will be on separate servers, and console players already know this!
I am quite worried that the PC version will be plagued with hackers though, this, and the delayed launch (I am a huge Destiny fan) is why I am getting this on the Pro instead.
It's the Xbox One Kiss!
I agree wholeheartedly, 30 days exclusivity, fair enough. But locking content out permanently is sad, especially when the first only launched with 5 strikes.. that's 20% extra! If there were 10 strikes at launch it wouldn't be such an issue, I still wouldn't like it though!
They're getting paid to promote it on the PS4 Pro, they can probably just say no comment for anything Xbox One X related, they aren't idiots though. How bad would it look on them if the superior powered machine has lower graphical fidelity. They are professionals.
No Kinect, pure focus on games. The Xbox One at launch was all about Kinect and how it was more of a full entertainment package, granted they kept the TV through port but they don't go on about it anymore. People responded very badly to that and the PS4 offered them what they wanted.
I also like how people are disagreeing when a lot of what I am saying is truth rather than opinion, oh well! You don't really get civil posts here, you either get Xbox Ones when everyon...
What is wrong with people on this site?? Seriously! I play 90% of my games on my PS4 Pro but even I get angry at just how Sony bias this site is.
How the majority twist every Xbox announcement or release is terrible, not to mention incredibly hypocritical. Go back to 2013/2014 when the PS4 was slightly more powerful than the Xbox One, most of the junk I read on here was people slamming the Xbox Ones performance. Flash forward to now, they release arguably a true gaming cons...
Depends how they utilise it though, as a PS4 Pro owner the one thing that would make me adopt a One X is better frame rates, 100%!
I would sooner have some checkerboard rendering and 60FPS than full 4K and 30. But I guess right now they are really pushing the true 4K selling point, which I guess is fair enough. 2 options in games would be nice though!
It shouldn't need justifying, it's better hardware + an UHD drive... Okay, PS4/Xbox One, that needed justifying! It was inferior hardware and it was more expensive! But it's just common sense this time around. Why was the 1080 more expensive than the 1070? Power & Tech. Why is an iPhone 7 more expensive than a 6s? Power & Tech.
£100/$100 for 20/30% better performance plus an UHD drive doesn't sound all that bad to me! However, as a PS4 Pro owner, there is little incentive to get it right now for me, I will wait and see if developers make use of the extra power.
If you were waiting on the One X before you made your "4K" choice then this seems the best option (assuming you already have a standard PS4 for their exclusives!)
It's likely people just don't care, but the PS4 Pro doesn't come with a UHD player built in. These tend to be around £150/200 to buy separately. So from a value for money point of view it's not just not bad, it's good! It's more powerful and it has an UHD drive, however if you don't need a UHD player then it becomes less relevant!
I'm just really gutted that cosmetic stuff like sparrows, shaders and ships wont transfer. They don't give anyone an advantage.
Bungie talk about the 10 year journey, but if they just wipe it each year it's not much of a journey at all. If would be great being able to show off the Crota raid ship in Destiny 3 for example.
I'm the worst Destiny fan, I am a huge fan AND a huge hater...
Destiny 2 summed up: It seems like it has EXACTLY the same business model (so, main game plus 2 DLCs for £90 = a £45 game) which was hated so much about the first one, good job showing your appreciation to the fans there.
Gameplay looks awesome, but... the same?? For a game with a 10 year plan, when they've already likely had £130+ plus out of each dedicated player, I r...
I rarely use the 3D on my 3DS now (in fact, I don't think the last Pokemon even had 3D on it) and I was in the market for the new 3DS, so if this is cheaper I will 100% consider it!
Sounds like a case for Cole Phelps.
...I'll get my coat...
