You want something to get lost in, in a strong narrative game? Sorry, but youre contradicting yourself there. I am not shunning either of those games but Below looks far more like a game to lose yourself in.
Really depends how you buy it to be honest, via Game Pass it's brilliant value and worth the investment. It definitely isn't worth RRP currently. It's a ton of fun though, most fun I've had on a multiplayer game in ages.
It's a hell of a lot of fun with 2 or 4 mates, and nowhere near as lonely as NMS. It's a tough one, Rare were more or less completely transparent about what was in it, but people (myself included) were still disappointed. It's like someone selling you a box telling you it's just full dust, then you open it and are upset that it was full of dust!
It's a win win, because you get Sea of Thieves cheap, and you also go a large catalog of other games to play.
"Putting aside these cosmetic items, the game may perform slightly better on Sony’s hardware as well. Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry compared the game on four consoles: a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, as well as the base models for both consoles. While the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro performed similarly, the base model PS4 outshone the standard Xbox One in all other tests."
This is a known fact, the base PS4 was more powerful than the original Xbox One.. any self respecting gam...
I can't even remotely take this seriously as there is no sign of Red Dead in that list!
As a game, PUBG, as an Xbox experience, Fortnite.
Also locked out getting a platinum on the main game now, one requirement is completing either the prestige raid or nightfall, both of which are now 330 now!
My excitement was short lived!
Problem is, with BF1 as you've used as an example it's not so much the increased framerate, it's that it's a lot more stable on the Pro. Locked 30 vs locked 60 will look much nicer on the eyes, but once you're familiar with either you'll much the same.
Having the frame rate drop from 50 to 30, then back to 50 is jarring and that's when you'll have difficulty.
So, if they get it stable 30 FPS on the One and stable 60 on the ...
I've played both and PUBG is definitely the better game. Fortnite is good casual fun, but PUBG is a much better experience overall.
It's an awesome film and will look great in 4K!
Absolutely, although I wasn't really making an argument, just a point relating to the article. I mean, it's fact, but obviously to anyone other than me and my friends, without me getting various proofs of purchase etc, which I am obviously not going to do, then people will either take them as true or false depending on what side of the table they're on.
I'm not making it a competition, the article says game are making buyers hold back but my situation is the exact opposite, I am just saying it's selling well. Only one of us got the PS4 Pro on launch, 4 of us got the One X on launch. 2 of those 4 didn't even have an Xbox One so it was just a bit surprising.
Out of my group of friends who are all PS4 players primarily, we have adopted the one X faster than the Pro.
Well it has both to be honest, but EA are the root cause. Having class progression behind RNG was never ever a good shout, you spend 2-3 hours on it one evening with your favourite class, you unlock a crate, you open said crate to get a star-card to support a class you don't actually play. Then you get angry and put £10 down to open some more crates in frustration, hoping to get something to actually give your class a boost.
Should probably mention that Summon75 seems to think the Xbox One S does 4K too as it came out around the same time as the Pro. Which would explain his confusion, I've explained that the One S wasn't a 4k machine like the pro, doesn't explain how he can't see the difference between 900p and 4k though!
Summons75 - The difference between 900p and 4k are enormous, are you watching all the videos on an old TV or Monitor? Best bet is load up some 900p images and 4k images where you can zoom in and see all the detail.
It definitely isn't overpriced, they've even said that you'd struggle to build a like for like PC for that kind of money, MS are selling it at a loss. Strip out the Uhd drive and it should be a similar price to the Ps4 Pro (which I think is great value for money) except it's about 50% faster!
Should probably add, they aren't letting you upgrade every exotic, at least not when the masterworks drop on the 8th. There will be a select number of them, over time they will add more.
