People like you? What a stupid bloody article title! I am not even opening it.
Hmm, I do think in part it was limited to hardware too.. I am sure if Shenmue 1 was created now they would have taken advantage of more facial tech.
The problem is it absolutely will be compared to recent games! I absolutely adored Shenmue 1 & 2 and at the time they were remarkable, but if they have the same sort of combat mechanics etc now it'll have a bad time.
I'm really not trying to be pessimistic to get an argument going, I am just very wary of getting my hopes up. I think you have accurately described it, it will likely play like the previous games and personally, I don't think I can commit to tha...
@travestyj - This is my last reply, mainly because we are both starting to sound like broken records now.
So your only real reason why you wouldn't want cross-play is because of the "toxic" Xbox userbase? yet every reply you have given me has been more and more toxic, I'm looking at it from a gaming point of view. I don't care if Sony don't need to do it, it also wouldn't hurt them to do it either. And if you choose to not believe that I play P...
@travestyj - So basically you can't give a decent reason why it is in anyway bad for the gamers? just for Sony? Who's motto is For the Players...
I am more than aware why Sony aren't for it, but at this point it's coming across from a more greedy/monopolising stand point. You have support from Xbox, Switch and PC and the only partner not playing is Sony. They don't need to, I get that, but get your tongue out of their arse for a moment, there is no reaso...
Sorry travestyj, I meant to say give me some decent reason why you don't think it's a good idea?
travesty and off road, please enlighten me with some decent reasons why Sony shouldn't support share play?
For the record, I play on PS4 80% of the time, I just have several groups of friends who exclusively play on Xbox One but I am too established on Ps4 to make the switch now.
But yeah, give me some reasons why they shouldn't support it, aside from the usual moronic droning of blah blah xbox fan, blah blah Sony fan bull**** that I see copy an...
By that logic it would also mean PS4 players aren't gamers either!
You get three types of people who react to this cross-play situation:
1. Xbox One owners (obviously)
2. Die hard PS4 owners
3. Gamers
The problem is 2/3 actually see the good this could do, 1/3 just don't want it despite the fact it could benefit them...
I find it bonkers that a game can show gruesome torture for example, no-one bats an eyelid. Show some boobs and a bit of wang and critics lose their mind!
The real question, does any true Destiny fan even care?? I don't, none of the people I played with do.
It better have The Taken King level of content out the box, or I'll be so annoyed. Obviously it's not gonna have 3 raids at the start but I expect something like the challenge of the enders as end game content.
justification
noun
1.
the action of showing something to be right or reasonable.
There was no justification in the price hike, they simply said it's going up without any reason.
It's definitely an incentive to buy, but I am just not sure it's a system seller due to how early access games are perceived. As they go, this one feels the closest to an actual full priced retail game, I haven't encountered any bugs personally.
I hope they manage to optimise it well for both the One and the One X.
It's brilliant, it's been a long time since I've felt such a range of emotions playing one game!
System seller though? Probably not, but it's certainly a good thing for Xbox.
I have no problem paying for DLC when it is good value for money and when it comes out an appropriate amount of time after the initial release. Paying £20-40 for a 10 minute mission, some weapon skins and character skins is when it takes the biscuit.
I personally think developers shouldn't be able to release paid DLC for the first three months or so after the game's release, if it's content that can be spewed out that quickly we shouldn't be paying for ...
Can also pre-order it on amazon UK, get code, cancel pre-order... Seems a bit easier!
Hmm, it raised to 400 Light but that was just with the Hard raid, they never did an additional raise no. If it launches with the content of TTK I will be incredibly happy, as that was really how the base game should have been! However it looks like they're doing the exact same content plan for year 2, so I just hope the base game has a nice amount of content.
For me it wasn't really an issue with the story, okay, it was pretty crap, but Destiny was more of a loot game for me. My issue with Destiny 1 was launch content, so I really hope this one has more like the content of The Taken King!
