I'll give MS their due. They haven't said a single thing against the WiiU yet. There's still time for Mr Greenburg to run his mouth though. Looks to me things aren't going too great at Sony HQ. They seem threatened by Nintendo.

It worked perfectly for goldeneye. It felt just as comfortable as a 360/PS3 pad. Btw when i mentioned the classic controller, i mean the revised version not the first release.
I'm not saying they will be there day one but they will come. I purchased my PS3 Day one because i knew MGS4 was going to be available on it. All the consoles have lackluster launch line ups but it has never stopped me buying one as there is always some game i know i'll want to play.

Erm... There already is a standard dual analog controller. The Classic controller.
I said day one because i like the idea of the controller. We have already been given a good idea what it can do.
Also as an alternative to playing on my PS3 or 360, i sometimes like to just sit back, chill out and play some Mario/Mario kart/Donkey Kong/Metroid/Zelda. If you can tell me where i can play future HD versions of these titles without buying the WiiU then by all means show me. Thats why i can say "Day One" with confidence.
If this is £250 - £300 then i'll be in day one. Any higher and i'd probably wait until a price drop.
The demo is an old build. I cancelled my pre order after playing it but curiosity got the better of me and i picked it up today. I'm glad i did as the full game looks and plays a lot better.

PS3/360 are able to do it but very few games actually do. So really only PCs can output 1080p on all games.
Dark power is spot on the mark. 1080p is the current resolution of TVs. It isn't old tech in the WiiU, it's current tech. If the WiiU is old then Tvs, Bluray players, PS3 & 360 are all old too.

First they tried to complain that Nintendo were only focusing on the casuals which Nintendo proved otherwise.
Then they said WiiU wouldn't have Third Party support, which again Nintendo proved otherwise.
Then they said that the showcased games didn't look up to PS3 & 360 quality. Reggie reveals they were 360 & PS3 footage! (this one made me LOL)

Can we please end this crap about nintendo franchises being milked? All the big 3 release sequels to games. They all release the same franchises again and again.
Look at Sony. They've got 3 Uncharted games on PS3 and 1 for Vita, 7 Metal Gear Games (not including re-releases), 5 God of war games etc
Microsoft have Halo, 3 Gears Games etc.
They all do it. Difference is Nintendo have been able to keep there franchises going all these years. ...
Yet the series didn't begin on a Sony Platform so it doesn't belong there either. So many seem to forget this fact.
You do realise that Sony has only used Media Formats that they have a stake in too don't you? This isn't just Nintendo that do this. They do it so they don't owe royalties to anyone.
Personally i think this is great for devs. If Sony jump on board with what Nintendo are doing, then it is going to allow Devs to create multiplatform games easily for both platforms.

Not gonna lie. This is a big disappointment Nintendo! Still looking forward to WiiU though.

We don't know enough about it to write it off like you are! Multiple devs and publishers are saying it's a great system. They know more than we currently do.
