This has been in development since they finished War for Cybertron. A smaller dev team made Dark of the Moon who then joined the Fall of Cybertron dev team. By the time Fall of Cybertron releases, it will have been in development for 2 and a half years!
So yeah, i have complete faith in High Moon. This will be a day 1 game for me!

If what Dice is saying is true, then prove it! Show us footage of the near finished builds. Show us this footage from the console builds and not from the PC version. Until such footage appears, everything Dice says is Hype.

In my opinion, Resistance 3 sucked. It was easily the most boring Resistance i have played. This is coming from someone who loved R1 & R2. The ending was terrible in R3.
Dead island on the other hand has grabbed my attention completely. It is far better than Resistance. Not on a graphics level mind but just for good old fashioned fun. Coop is a blast on it.

I've got Mario in my name for the exact same reason you do. It was Mario & Nintendo that brought gaming to me. To this day i still love the plumber, but i also love Uncharted and Gears.

It's not about how big your tv is. It's about how far you are sitting away from it. You can easily see the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 32" tv as long as you don't sit too far away.

Zavvi did go bust. It's only the name that lives on which is operated by the hut group. The Hut, Zavvi and Asda Entertainment are all the same. The Hut Group are actually alot bigger than The Game Group (Game, Gamestation and Gameplay). That probably explains how they secured the exclusive.

I've had this since release and i can't say i'm enjoying it. I loved Resistance 1 & 2 campaign but R3 just seems so boring. The online is the best of the series but the campaign is the worst in my opinion.
This game is amazing! I've been playing it for quite a few hours now and it's clear that reviewers have underrated it. Yeah there is clipping in some parts as well as some pop in, but that is the worst i've seen when it comes to glitches. If you like borderlands, then i suggest you pick this up.
The atmosphere in the game is amazing. It really pulls you in and genuinely makes you feel scared when you see a group of zombies.
Obviously it is yourself who has been living under a rock. Every year THQ reveal the full roster and then week by week they unlock their Entrance videos, finishers and their ratings so we can see what they are like in game. This is what the author is getting at.
At least this is informative unlike the majority of fanboy and opinion crap that drags this site down daily.
