Why are people on this site rushing to defend Sony? Yes the hackers are the criminals and should be punished by the full extent of the law, but Sony deserve all this bad publicity now.

It could be a number of things really. Most people don't even know what PSN is. I'm not saying PSN isn't part of why it fell, just that it wasn't THE only reason Sony's shares fell.

To be fair, DC Universe and Free Realms subscribers are entitled to compensation as they are paying a subscription to play those two titles.

It should go in this order:
1.Sony give a Statement declaring whether our credit card info was stolen!
2.Sony offer a timeframe when PSN will be back up
3.Sony offering compensation to DC Universe and Free Realms Subscribers.

Thats true but still i doubt Sony will give anything of any value. We would probably be lucky to get a mini!
In reality though, what have plus members missed out on? The content that they paid for will still be there once the PSN is up and running again. It's not like things are released weekly on it which they have no access to because of the outages.
Sony doesn't have to compensate anyone really. They owe their users a statement letting us know if our card details have been compromised though.

If the buttons are touch screen like on ipad/ipod then i won't be buying this at all. You couldn't even pay me to have one. It doesn't work on ipod touch/iphone/ipad and it won't work on a home console.
If they included physical buttons with a touch screen in the middle then that would be fine!
I totally agree with what you said. On 360 I wanna see a proper Banjo adventure game made by rare. I don't want another Halo. A killer instinct game would be great too.

What i don't wanna see is more generic FPS crap. There are far too many serious FPS games out there, which is what made Bulletstorm so refreshing! It didn't take itself seriously and was just plain fun.
All the people asking for compensation is kind of stupid. The only thing i think Sony owes PSN users, is a statement letting us know whether our credit card info had been comprimised, so we in turn can notify our banks ahead of any card fraud!
Sony are partly to blame as you would have thought they would have been able to stop something like this.
Saying that though, people should be thanking Sony for quickly shutting off PSN to prevent any account info being stolen! Many other companies would have probably just allowed it to happen and then deny any hacking on their end so i can give props to them!
If this was caused by hackers then screw them! I hope they are punished to the fullest extent of the law!

No, just No! There is nothing and i mean NOTHING on 360 that can touch Uncharted 1 & 2, God of War 3 or Killzone 2 & 3 graphically! Sorry but thats a fact. Gears 1 & 2 look great & i'm loving the Gears 3 Beta but they don't even come close to any of the above PS3 Exclusives in the graphics department.
