Also, you are forgetting that Sony is making you buy their own brand, overpriced Memory cards to get even more cash out of you (which is required for some launch games).

The Vita will have to drop it's price before it can compete with the 3DS. If Nintendo couldn't get 130 million DS owners to upgrade at it's high price, then Sony won't either.
With the current economy, i see an uphill struggle for Sony because of Vita's Price and because they are missing the Holiday sales this year. By this time next year, i can see the Vita dropping £80 from it's retail price.

Go look how much money Sony & MS made from the PS3 & 360. Both of them lost more money than Nintendo.
Nintendo were making a profit the moment the Wii and DS released. They never lost money on a single console. They sold 90 million Wii consoles and 130 million DS consoles. Then there are all their licensing fees from games plus the sales for their first party games.

This means nothing. They haven't surveyed all PS3 owners so to state that 63% will buy vita is jumping the gun.
They could have only surveyed 1000 people which would not contain the other millions of users opinions. So until we know how big the group was, conclusions cannot be drawn from his statement.

I think Mr Schofield's comment was totally justified. After all the crap EA & Dice have given over the past 6 months, attacking the COD franchise, i think his comment was well deserved.
As much as i now hate COD for it's repetitiveness, EA & Dice have turned me off from buying B3. History tells us when a developer is mouthing off like EA & Dice have been, the game they are mouthing off about tend to be not that good.

Well Said. Neither deserve the hype & i'm not buying either. I'm getting Assassin's creed Mario Kart, Mario 3D land and Saints Row 3rd. Those four games will grab my attention more than these half assed military shooters sold on hype alone.
The above games alone will be at least 20 hours long in single player. None of this 6 hour crap.
Personally, i don't think either of them offer anything to this extremely overused genre.
I don't think it was the seriousness that let GTAIV down. It was the lack of things to do outside of the main story. That to me is where it lost it's ability to be fun. Once you finished the story, there was nothing to do.
