This is a part of Sony's restructuring plans. They have had record losses this year in all divisions.
Along with Panasonic, they have lossed huge amounts of revenue from their TV department. So much infact that they have abandoned Oled TV manufacturing for home consumers. They're rumours they may even quit TVs altogether and just use other companies panels and just rebranding them.

It is £15.99 in the UK on PSN and £14.99 on XBL in UK. That was what i was referring to when i said Crysis is more expensive on PSN.

Crysis 1 is cheaper on XBL
The EA/Activision/ubisoft etc full retail games for download are cheaper on XBL
And my personal favourite is that the Goldeneye DLC is free on US PSN & worldwide on XBL but is £1.59 on the UK PSN.

Well i'm playing it right now and everything you listed is wrong. It is far from broken and i can't see at all how it has been watered down. Had this been ported by the original developers themselves, then reviewers would be creaming over it.
I prefer the 3ds & vita to my ipad but the facts are there are great games available on all 3.

In Wii's defense, the few online games i have played online on the system, never have any issues.
Shame the same can't be said for Xbox and PS3. Devs don't have to make sure their product is working on PS3 and 360 because they just patch them. No patches on Wii so it has to work first time.

Even though it is the Publishers that set the prices, it still reflects badly on Sony.
Just as an example:
Say you walk into a Game Shop & they're selling Dead Space 2 for £47.99 but a shop down the road are selling it for £17.99, your reaction would be "WOW Game are a rip off, i'm never shopping here again." even though EA could have told Game what they must charge.

PS2 games look horrible on a 60gb. How do i know? Maybe because i owned one until they kept YLODing and i gave up and purchased a slim. The PS2 games were a blurry, jaggy mess on the 60GB! Go compare Sly, Tomb Raider and God of War. The HD comparisons are much better!

It's a night and day difference between the HD collections and a PS3 playing PS2 games. The HD collections are much more pleasing to the eye. PS2 games look like crap on a B/C PS3.

My god! Come back with that same logic when Uncharted, Gears, Killzone, Mario etc are available on PC. Until such a time occurs where all these CONSOLE exclusives are readily available on PC, then i will quite happily stick with my consoles. kthxbye!
The Wii was innovative whether you choose to accept that or not. Motion Controllers had never been done so well and just like the PS3 , people jumped to spell doom. In all cases, they were proved wrong.
The sooner people stop acting like the Wii was a failure, and then reaching to say it sucked, the better.
