The way i see this news is, No Disc drive, No competitive pricing between retailers on games, less price drops which equals no purchase.

This really annoyed me. First they release day 1 dlc that should have been in the full game and now this. This was a really lazy port by Bioware. The PS3 version should have been optimised alot more.

Game have huge money troubles. They lost their credit, so the publishers aren't giving them games. They're basically on their way out. Rumour has it though, that Gamestop are looking to buy them.

I use Hdmi out on my ipad. I had to buy an add-on but you can do it. It's useless for games though as you still have to look at the screen to see what your pressing. That's why a controller is needed.
They do have core games already on iOS so you are mistaken there. Resident Evil 4, Dead space, Mass Effect, etc are all there.
It does have Metal Gear Solid and Mass Effect though. Dead space too. Granted, they aren't a patch on their console counterparts, but it does have those franchises. Dead Space and Mass Effect are full third person shooters too and not some top down mini game.

The issue here is, you can bet those who did this will still buy the game. They will still buy the dlc. Then EA and Bioware will continue on with this business model.

At least Zipper's Socom worked day one. Slant Six took nearly a year of patches just to get everything functional.

I missed out on these on PS2, so i picked up the HD collection. Part 1 is fantastic. I'm on part 2 now and it seems to drag on a bit, so i'm hoping part 3 is more like the first game.
