That wasn't a dualshock at all. The face buttons had the same colours as those on 360. I hope this isn't PC exclusive as it looked amazing.

Microsoft seem to have forgotten that the Xbox 360 is a games console. Those new ips they shown looked like ass too.
Next gen, MS will need to prove their worth now. Halo, Gears and Forza with exclusive dlc does not cut it anymore.
This is a PC Game. If you look at the controller in his hand it appears to be a 360 pad but it isn't the same shape. It looks like a PC controller.

At least it is showing that there will be strong support at launch. Can't wait for it personally after seeing this trailer.
It's still a good idea in that Multiplatform devs can use some of the WiiU's tablet features on the other platforms though. It allows them to streamline the development.
It's no match for WiiU's tablet but it helps developers i suppose.

Whole games just won't work without actual buttons. Unless MS release add ons for tablets and phones that allow you to use a 360 pad on them.
Agreed. Really don't see how this could be a bad thing. It means developers will make use on it across all 3 platforms, allowing development to be streamlined.

Noooo the tablet is still there. This is just for us PS3/360 gamers if we don't like the tablet controller.
Are you serious cloud? Only kids care about Mario now? I know plenty of people young and old who still play mario games. Every single one is a hit.
Go look at the sales data and reviews for Mario VS Sony exclusives. Mario always wins. It has perfect level and gameplay design everytime. That's not to say Sony's exclusives aren't great because they are. Nintendo's MAIN Mario, Zelda and Metroid games are just better.

It doesn't matter who copies who though. What matters is that those who do copy, don't just release a straight copy with no improvements.
Sony released Move with improvements over the Wiimote.
MS released Kinect with improvements over the eyetoy.
Nintendo are releasing this controller with improvements over the 360/PS3 pads.

The tablet has the same buttons as the classic pad. What works on the tablet will work on the classic pad. They will develop for the tablet in mind, but games will have an option to turn off touch screen functionality. Hence, how the classic pad will work!
Didn't they say that their focus was on the WiiU this year but would have more 3DS news throughout the week?
Basically, Nintendo are all about WiiU, but IGN, Gamespot etc will have you covered in regards to 3DS news.

I think they're mainly there so we can still play Wii games on it like mario galaxy. The tablet and the classic pads will be the main controllers going forward.

Lets also be honest, Sony padded the conference out with that ridiculous wonderbook. They battered Microsoft though, without a doubt.
Out of all the conferences though, Ubisoft takes the crown for best of E3! It'll be interesting to see Nintendo's next 2 conferences with the E3 presentation ...
