Stop trolling.
We already know developers are interested in WiiU. We already know it will be more powerful than PS3 & 360.
What we don't know is how much more powerful it will be. Regarding the PS4/Xbox 720, we won't know their power until those systems are announced.
Anyone claiming their superiority this early is kidding themselves. It is not guaranteed that they will be more powerful, especially with MS's Kinect Focus and...
The graphics are average? Good?
Did you see the same trailer that i just watched? They look amazing!
As for photorealism and this still looking like a game, show me a PC game that doesn't look like a game. There isn't one. Even Battlefield 3 and Crysis still look like games. You're making out that PC's are generations in front of consoles when they aren't.
Graphically, yes they are better but they still look like games. ...
These articles are getting tiresome.
The Vita doesn't need saving. It just needs a kick up the rear end. It's far from being a dead product. More software and maybe a little price cut / bundle and they'll soon fly of the shelves.
I can't wait until later this year when Vita sales do pick up. Maybe these articles will end. The 3DS got this treatment last year (which a lot of fanboys were quick to agree with) until the games began steadily rele...
Got to agree with Dark_Overlord.
Hmv have been great for the last 2 years for me. The release day games are always £39.99 in my local and they offer the best trade in prices. HMV also made sure to employ Gamers at the Gaming counter too, so it's great to go in there, trade in, pick up a new release with the credit and have a chat about gaming.
Unlike Game/Gamestation with their brand new but scratched stock and their pushy preorder tactics. I'l...
Stop making Force Unleashed games. Stop making dingbat Kinect games.
JUST MAKE BATTLEFRONT 3!
I swear LucasArts is the dumbest developer this gen.
@crashbash
Eurogamer have always been more critical than other sites. Not just on PS3 but all platforms. This is a really good score from Eurogamer.
Read the reviews rather than skipping to the number.
Read Eurogamer's article that i linked to above. The site has not made this up by looking at a chart.
"Sony expects there to be 16 million combined PSP and Vita sales this financial year (April 2012 - March 2013). The Ace Consulting analyst questioning Kaz Hirai reasoned that PSP would contribute roughly 6 million sales towards this - a generous estimate given the PSP's annual decline.
Therefore, the remaining 10 million sales - to reach the pro...
To be fair, he has implied that it will sell around 10 million.

Vita has sold 1.8 million units worldwide since December last year up until the end of March, as confirmed by Sony. Where are you getting 2 million in one month from? Lol!
I see this as a sign that they are either going to give it a price cut to offset the expensive memory cards, or they are going to start including a 8gb memory card in the box.
With the great future line-up of games coming to Vita, it could pass 10 million easily by them doing so.
...
People don't think that the Hardware itself is expensive. It's the memory cards that make it expensive. You need a memory card to play some games and to be able to save them. Not including one in the box was ridiculous.
What you don't seem to understand, is that the 3DS still sold more consoles during the same launch timeframe. It started selling poorly due to the lack in Software AND it's price tag.
Sony is going through the exact same issue here, except it's the lack of software and the expensive memory cards. It's those same two complaints that keep appearing regarding Vita. Sony screwed up (just like Nintendo screwed up by having a single analogue stick) by not including...
@sonic
I already sold my 3DS a while back and I am waiting on more games for Vita before picking one up.
Saying that ,however, i've got to disagree with some of your points. Vita requires a memory card to play. There is no reason why Sony couldn't have included those 4GB cards in the box.
Also, the 3DS hardware is not "weak, very weak". It's not as powerful as the Vita, but it is still a big step up from DS and PSP. Resi...
@nutsack
I like Mario games, hence the name, but i own an Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Most of my gaming is spent on PS3/360. So your petty childish names mean nothing to me and anyone else. They're not cleverly thought up and they're not even funny.
As for "proven quality games", are you really going to try to make claims that the likes of Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong are not proven quality games? Nintendo's franchises are the mos...
@joeorc
Sony are not looking at their Smartphones as gaming handhelds. Smartphones are Phones that happen to let you surf the web and play games. It's primary function is still a phone. Vita is a gaming handheld, pure and simple.
The only thing happening here is the "oh look new console" effect. It happens with every new console release. Last year it was the 3DS, this year the Vita and it's even starting to happen to WiiU (which nobody knows...
I don't get why people want to buy the same game twice. I personally don't want Vita to have the same games as what are on PS3. I want it to have it's own games and experiences.
I don't care about them using the existing franchises, but i don't want to play the exact same game on Vita and on PS3. The PS3 version will always top the Vita experience, so it makes no sense to buy it for Vita too.
By copying the games from PS3 to Vita, it dev...
Heard it all before THQ!
I'd bet this year, they still screw it up, including leaving bugs in the game that should have been fixed 3-4 games ago.
Problem is though, the stupid ones will resort back to the casual games argument, followed by online sucks, followed by make some new i.p.'s Nintendo.
Nintendo can't win. People complained when they went casual and they're still complaining despite Nintendo giving them what they want.
So using your logic then Nutsack,
People love Uncharted, Gears of War, Killzone, God of War etc because of marketing and not because they are all great looking games that have great gameplay too.
Seriously, GTFO!
Why do you watch any TV Shows or Films? Why do you play Videogames? Most of them are fake!
WWE doesn't claim to be a real sport. It never has.
Miyamoto did not say that at all. He said that he was unimpressed due to a lack of software available and he sympathises with them as it was the same situation that the 3DS went through upon launch. He actually complemented the Vita saying it had great hardware.
