No, it's pretty much all their fault, before Microsoft you bought a game you owned it. Microsoft changed that whole formula, to be you buy a game then you have to buy the other half of the game later. Now they are pushing a free to play service where the entire purpose of the game is just to get you to buy MT's.
Except everything he said is factual.
And anyone who disagrees didn't watch the video and is just blindly defending Microsoft.
Ironically right after he said that he gave an answer to all the people like you who were going to call him biased.
And of course nothing he pointed out isn't things that Microsoft actually didn't do.
They didn't even bring BC, they brought a white list and allowed companies to sign up. Most of my 360 games don't have BC.
Real BC was what Sony had prior to PS4 where you could just put in your disk and play the game.
Are you kidding?
Online gaming had been a thing on PC way before Microsoft there were even things like MMO's.
All Microsoft brought was a fee to play online.
This game looks incredible, I am definitely going to pick it up.
Prepare for high reviews and excellent sales.
Obfuscate, double count, or just make up numbers and what ever you do don't give any information that can be verified as true by any outside source.
I have been saying this kind of stuff forever.
Honestly he skipped over much of the most egregious things Microsoft does and has done, but it's still good work.
Short term memory people and people who don't understand why people don't want an xbox need to keep being reminded of this stuff.
I don't know why anyone supports them, from the very beginning Microsoft has don't nothing but be a damaging influence on gaming...
Actually gamepass ultimate isn't even a good deal. Gamepass on PC is half the price and you don't have to pay for live at all.
So does this apply to people who own a PS4 and Switch? That's more than one platform.
Or are you saying that anyone who doesn't want an xbox is somehow not a "real gamer" what ever the f*ck that is.
No thanks, rather skip the xbox and just use the money on games.
This type of article really backfires on itself, it just reeks of desperation. PlayStation and Nintendo don't have this crap and they are destroying xbox by every definition.
Or ya know buy a PS4 and just use that xbox money on games.
No, they are much worse, at least Polygon had other gaming content and was a gaming site, they might have been a little biased but it's nothing like the obviously BS drivel that Forbes craps out on a daily basis.
Why would I waste 300-500 on an xbox when I could use that money to buy actual games for my PlayStation or PC?
The ability to display gradients of light and dark especially in LCD monitors can very greatly, and game development is almost always going to be done on true 10bit monitors. So, often not being able to see clearly isn't the developers intent and actually just the result of hardware differences.
There is no match, not until Microsoft wants to talk about sales again. You can't compare what is essentially a free to play game with a game that is being sold at retail.
Try watching the video, point out anything he says that isn't true, I dare you.
