1970: The new ice age! We're all gonna die!

I'm fairly certain this is made up or a huge exaggeration.

1980: Acid rain! We're all gonna die!

Regulation was enacted that forced sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides and other things that caused acid rain to be filtered instead of released into the air, and we solved the problem.

1990: The ozone layer is gone! We're all gonna die!

Actually, China has very strong energy efficacy policy. They have the most advanced renewable energy technology in place in the world.

And to be fair China has aggressively worked to cut their carbon footprint while certain other countries leaders work against renewable energy by cutting funding for research and projects and cutting regulations. ...

I don't watch any of the trailers for these games.

I really liked Detroit but one of my biggest regrets was that I knew the basic story from E3. It didn't ruin my enjoyment of the game. Bur if when the game started up playing as Marcus I had no idea what was going to unfold I would have really been sucked into the story a lot more.

It's hard to know where to draw the line on what to watch when it comes to games like this, it's really e...

This is arguably the very best all round consumer processor, you have got plenty of cores and threads for any kind of productions job like music and video editing with great clocks and memory support that provide top of the line IPC for gaming performance. All at a price that really can't be matched.

The point is hypocrisy. And I don't think he's learned the lesson.

But I'm sure the x did teach him one thing... that 4k won't sell an xbox.

What PlayStation generation did Sony not have good games?

Sony doesn't need Microsoft to know to make good games.

You're the one dividing people.

Honestly, it would be a lot easier to pick which one isn't best positioned.

Switch will probably edge out PlayStation, but PlayStation may have some incredible end of gen deals. There is a good chance it'll just come down to who can supply the most consoles to market.

@CaptainObvious878

"I do find it interesting, however, that most Sony fans seem to recognize game streaming for what it is but ms fans are ready to bend over and smile the moment it arrives."

So much this, those MS guys just buy into anything... Then keep defending things well after they have been shown to have negative impact.

So... it started this gen and not ya know way back when Sega was talking about 16 bit Genesis being better than NES, or really literally since the very first gaming devices.

Just for fun here is an old atari ad.

You don't actually understand how the tech works. it's not about how much bandwidth you have it's about latency and packet loss/retransmits. Have fun trying to play your games on some overloaded internet hotspot with latency and packet loss.

And we'll see what the internet providers have to say about you using 20gb/hour to play Fortnite...

See this is the common mistake people keep making even after more than doubling the price of the streaming service since it's launch Netflix is still losing money, and as you pointed out physical sales also took a hit.

It always seems like a shame, you got developers busting their butts to make really elaborate games yet Activision cut and pastes their way to a new CoD game every year and sells the most copies.

Oh well, have fun casuals.
