I'm guessing your Masters had nothing to do with writing?
Some of these are just signs that you're getting a life. If you're going to play games 24/7 to rack up a gamerscore or whatever, just go play WoW. At least then you can have a fantasy life instead of none at all. "Hardcore", in gaming terms, is completely synonymous with "loser".
Edit: I probably should have put this in the Open Zone, sorry.
Whups, moved to Open Zone. Finished the post and didn't think it belonged here. Lol...
Indeed, he does have some points. However, when the XBOX was more powerful, there were many fanboys that used that as their basis for why it was a better system. Woohoo, go better graphics. It just seems now that it's flipped, the question of better graphics is no longer a concern because the limelight doesn't shine on their console of choice. Complaining about Sony fanboys changing why their console is better is hypocrisy because XBOX fanboys have done it as well.
Other th...
I doubt that. Ever heard of HVD (holographic versatile disc)? It has a 3.9 TB capacity. How many HD movies would that store on one disc? Maybe you could go 30,000 x 21,000 or something stupid. People like to be able to easy move data. Physical media is easier to take to a buddy's house than your hard drive. Not to mentin, you're assuming that evveryone wants to hook up their tv's to the pc/console.
DD will have it's place, but so will physical media. DD hasn't killed of...
First, it's hypocrites. Second, is it plural because you're including yourself in that statement? I mean, you've obviously been an XBOX fanboy for a while as you seem to know all about the Sony fanboy's during the PS1/PS2 era. So, one would assume that during the XBOX era, you were an MS fanboy touting XBOX's superior graphics, based on your comments and knowledge. Sucks when the power shifts, huh? I know, I'll be the kettle, you can be the pot.
What he's saying is he didn't care that the PC version was the "superior" one. Well, at least that's how I'm reading it. If not, yeah, post doesn't make sense.
Jesus, your fanboy babbling is unmatched in stupidity, huh? You act like MS is so different as a company. Man, whatever happened to Vista being so great? What happened to them not supporting XP anymore? I remember MS's promises about how much more secure Vista would be and how much harder it would be to pirate things on it...yeah, that was BS.
Pot: "You're black!"
Kettle: "Have ya seen yourself lately?"
Ever been to the Open Zone?...
Outside of HS, what has NT really made?
Ever played Mario Party 8? One of the mini-games has you "shake up a can of soda". Guess how you do that?
Wow, talk about stupid generalizations. PS3 owners don't have money, right? Then why do they buy a system that costs more than the 360? Since we seem to be making dumb generalizations, can I assume that 360 fanboys are so stupid they don't know how to correctly use the word 'dual'? Duel refers to a fight/contest between two people. Dual denotes two of something.
By the way, no compression system in the world will help DVD9 store the same amount of data as a BD. 50 GB of d...
@KewlKat
I'm sure Sony would like games to sell for their system, but I doubt they have any problem with PS3s selling because people want them to watch Bluray movies. PS3s and Bluray movies sold put money in Sony's pocket. I've never heard of a company complaining about getting money.
@Sammy
Your whole statement about MGS and GT fans being GTA fans as well isn't necessarily true. Ever heard of the logical fallacy dicto simpliciter? You're generalizing/stereoty...
It makes you think it's just going to discuss PS Store vs XB Marketplace. Everyone already knows XBL is better than PSN, the author of this article is a flippin' moron. Did you know ice is colder than fire?
Maybe I just haven't seen it, but do you mind showing me where someone said, "OMG! DD would be a bad and stupid idea." As previously stated, what was argued (from what I've seen) is that it will not replace physical media as fast as MS is implying.
Edit: Was supposed to be a reply to 8.
Oh, leave Mr. One Bubble alone. He's probably too big of a fanboy to think that maybe burning rented movies (AnyDVD anyone?) probably has a bigger impact on DVD sales than DD does. I'm sure Netflix/Blockbuster's online service have a part in it as well. I guess the fanboy in him controls the reasoning part in his brain.
You want a remake? Download the game on an emulator, get stupid on acid, and voilà, you can now play the same old game with a huge graphical upgrade.
This is just stupid. Next we're going to have approved stories like, "OMG! I dropped my 360 off a three story building and it no longer works. Hard earned cash down the drain. Damn you MS!"
Compare UT to a franchise with three installations that outsold all of the Unreal games combined and kills it in the ratings.
Regardless, the game is average and its only redeeming quality on the PS3 was that it allowed mouse and keyboard support. It still offered nothing to attract new players to the game.
Question: Is the PSN network down, or is it just for that game? Slight difference between a network crashing (see XBL), and servers being down.
A little story...
A single mom goes to work and leaves the care of her child to his uncle. While she's at work, the uncle molests the child. Is the mother to blame for leaving the -responsibility- of the child in the care of another? Nope.
The point is, when you leave the responsibility up to another, it's imp...
