You're missing his point. Don't forget installs mean quicker load times as well. Which, in case you forgot, does affect you--the end user. Many PC games have installs. I think you're just being an arrogant XBOX fanboy.
Remember the PS3 is compatable with almost any hard drive, making this much less of an issue. The fact the 360 is so limited in this area has clouded your mind. Don't forget, MS as well as Sony have both said digital download is the future. Meaning, like...
I agree on most everything you just said. I do wish M/K were integrated in console games though. It wouldn't have to be full integration, UTIII's style would suffice. But anywho, rare to find someone who isn't a prick fanboy. You should have more bubbles...I know, I'll give ya' one!!! :D
I bet you're really interested in a rational discussion. Yeah, sure. Comments like, "I guess he prefer long load times and disk swaps in his console experience." which are nothing but making a jab at one console really shows rational evidence why one racer is better than the other. That's a fanboy comment about a console and has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. Before you critique a rational comment, be sure you're actually making comments about the subject and not try...
Pride is so silly. 360 fans should be able to agree that whether or not they think Forza is better than GT, GT has more sales, more critical acclaim, and more fans. GT has more numbers to back up it being a better sim racer than Forza. Much like PS fans should agree that regardless of their opinion, Halo has outsold ANY shooter on the PS and would generally be regarded as a better shooter than anything PS has to offer. Numbers and critical acclaim speak volumes in today's society. If it ...
Oh, by the way, the software program you can download is called Xfire.
Be careful, there are people with the balls to say something to 1st. What will he think of that?
It's a stupid article saying Nintendo isn't necessarily the best platform for third party devs to develop for. It lamely supports this by showing the current number of systems out for each system and the percentage of games made for that system by first and third party devs. Nintendo, *shockingly*, has the lowest percentage of third party developed games. What this proves is nothing other than they have the lowest percentage of third party developed games. It's stupid.

Easier, yes. I'll give you that it is more user friendly for those illiterate in the language of PC. Being user friendly doesn't equate superiority. PCs are still more customizable with vastly more options to what you can do. To my knowledge, nearly all PC games have an integrated in game chat system (FPSs, WoW, what else is played on PC...?).
There's even free software you can download that allows you to add your friends to it, alerts you when they are online, tells you wh...
Um, I didn't know you couldn't get on ventrillo with your friends (which is a better chat service than either Sony or MS offer) and create a room and have them join. Let's see, host game, set up room, create password (if you like), etc. It's not rocket science. PC online is better. Not to mention there are better online structures on PCs that not even precious Live can touch. Guess you can't do that...silly me.
Never been a fan of matchmaking. I prefer the way computers do it. See the list, see your ping, go from there.
So, ridde me this then, why have EA, Midway, Ubisoft, and many others made horrid shooters? Army of Two, America's Army: True Soldiers, and Hour of Victory...these were obviously great games because they fall into that genre of gaming where basically everyone can do it. What about CoD3? Didn't that sell millions...? Wait, no, it didn't. Your comment is asinine and borders on blatant stupidity.

I don't see why so many people care about the stupid PS3 vs 360 war. To an extent, they weren't even going after the same market to begin with. If you wanted shooters, XBOX was your thing. If you wanted other things, then it was PS. The worst thing Sony did was shove out a million and one shooters. Stupid. If I wanted to play great FPSs, I'd go buy another 360. The PS2 did just fine without popping out shooters like the neighb...
Don't worry about him. He's just a 360 fanboy who's looking for a flame. I bet he won't say crap about Forza 10 when it comes out. Or PGR now. That's one sh!tty ass racer. PGR? Are you kidding me?
Anyway, what about Mortal Kombat? Why isn't that game mentioned? Or Madden?
Touche. I was gonna say something, but they do milk the name.
I didn't realize FF had the same characters in all of them. I didn't realize there was a complete lack of a real plot in them. *Cough* Mario *Cough*
Don't get me wrong, I like all three franchises, but that was just a stupid comment. It's not the same. FF7's Cloud was a more developed character than any character in Mario/Zelda in all of their games combined.
Can you be banned from N4G for butchering the English language like that? Gooder? Are you serious?
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Over one game? Are you serious?
I'm guessing that little bit was directed toward me (pointing out mustve = must've, etc).
*Cough* "Its" refers to possession. "It's" is a contraction for it is. Just thought I'd mention that to the guy with the mighty MaSteRS. You know, since you made a big deal out of my little joke. Does the fact that the "simplified" contraction changes the word's definition make one look stupid?
Ignorance is bliss but it still makes you look stupid. When did he say Sony's installs make the counterpart 360 games look like crap? He didn't. That's your feeble mind's inability to comprehend thought outside of the fanboy box. He was stating you're making a bigger deal out of the downloads than need be. This is something he supported by illustrating to you the PC's regular usage of installs.
So, like I said, go ahead and make a big deal about installing from a disc. By...
