All PS3 games have of loading time. It generally takes longer to load than the 360 because BD drives just aren't as fast as DVD drives as the tech is not as developed. SSDs have incredibly fast read times and would be better "in that department" if not for their high price (2$ per gig on average).
Tekken 5: DRO in no way has/had a better online component than Tekken 6: BR. The net code in 5 was so bad and horribly done. From random lag days with people you regularly played with to an increased lag in odd numbered rooms, it was terrible. Not to mention you could play someone online who lived three blocks from you and have a terrible connection. Perhaps you played BR before its patch that updated the net code shortly after the game's release. It's not perfect, but BR is worl...

At you below me, cgoodno, would love to see Parasite Eve redone. Tho I wasn't too fond of the sequel. Something about the atmosphere of it turned me off a bit.
Personally, I would want Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2. VP 2 had some crazy puzzles in the Seraphic Gate. Some of them took me hours to figure out.

Actually, Tony P, Rei's right. You either overlooked something in the article or just can't read. The guys over at Bioware said that there was NO story in MMOs. None. Zip. And FFXI did have a story. You can actually go to gamefaqs (I think) and read all of the storyline for that game and it's fairly massive.
But your point is half true. Yes, initially you do have that stupid grinding or you'll just be "Too weak to be worthwhile" to progress in...

From your statement tho, you are talking about location of information. A BD has a constant linear velocity, meaning data is essentially streamed at the same speed from anywhere on the disk. A DVD has a constant angular velocity, meaning the data is streamed faster on the outer edge than the inner areas of the disk.
So, as a dev, a DVD has an easy way out: data that's heavily accessed is stored on the outer area of the disk where the throughput...
