I doubt he's pushed the graphics of the PS3 to the max. I'd bet later PS3 and 360 games look better than MGS4. The best looking games are never out on the first year. I guess MGS2 looked as good as God of War...
Wisest thing I've seen in this thread.
Maybe they don't like games you can beat in five hours (HS), collecting gears, bolts, etc (R&C), or racing games with only six tracks and no vehicle deformation (GT5P). Personally, I thought HS and R&C were great. But low review scores don't necessarily = bias.
I wouldn't. The six tracks just kills it for me.
Wow, you're pretty quick to pull the MS card, huh? Ever think maybe his nothing to do with MS? Ever think of that? Probably not. You're too caught in the Sony/MS fanboy war to have a thought that isn't in someway related to the console war. Get. A. Life.
OMG! I can't stand GoW for the same reason. How come none of the characters are skinny and not juiced up? That's so stupid. Like a 150lb man coudn't shoot a gun. That's so lame.
And how come there aren't any main characters in games with horrible acne? I mean, those people are completely ostracized from the gaming world. For shame!
DuB, you beat me too it.
Looks nice. I just wish SE wasn't so secretive about evertyhing they do.
Lily is garbage in DR. There aren't many Lily players I can't beat. I'm assuming you're complaining about her cartwheel/flip string. You know, you CAN jab her out of that. Block the first one and jab her out of the second one. It sets up juggles nicely.
You must not be very good at Tekken. Try your ten hits against good players and you'll probably get popped for it. Lily's ten hits are easily countered by hopkicks that are guaranteed against lows or parry/pop up moves. King's are trickier because he can cancel into throws. Ducking is wise.
If you really think ten hits are the key to victory, my PSN tag is listed under my profile. Message me, my Nina would like to say hello.
If by repetitive do you mean missions like, "Hey, man, I need you to take me to Joey's house", and, "Hey, man, the whores all got loose, I need you to pick 'em up for me", or "Hey, man, Joe's behavior ain't been too good lately, let's teach him a lesson". You mean doing these exact same style missions since GTAIII gets repetitive? Hearing the same storyline over and over isn't repetitive at all, is it? It's obvious you couldn't possibly mean a game that keeps ...
I'm going to pray to a God I don't believe in for launch day to come tomorrow so all of the "OMG! This game is the roxxorz" comments about to GTA will come to an end. I just can't see how a game with no evolution gets such hype. It's not a racer or sports game, there is room for innovation. How far can the, "Yo, man, go here and kill _____" storyline take you. Same old story, same old gameplay, nothing new. You can play GTAIV right now, just pop in GTAIII--it's not l...
Exposing a fallacy...nicely done. You forgot Tekken 6, which, despite popular belief, is a AAA title. Unless selling 3 million+ per game on average (most Tekken games are between 3 and 7 million sold on a console) doesn't make it AAA... Anyway, bubbles for sensibly debunking the BS.
Yes, because I obviously like GTA. Check my post history, man. GTA is an overly repetitive game that needs a serious overhaul to make it fun again. It's like Madden; the gameplay has been exactly the same since GTAIII and hasn't changed at all.
I just call it like it is, man. If MS is right, I'll say it. If Sony is right, I'll go that way. But from looking at your comment history, you don't seem to wanna hear rhyme nor reason unless it's "MS this, MS that!" G...
Blah, blah, blah, bippidy, bappidy, boo. Much like your little post here makes you look afraid that it might be true.
What? You didn't know? Even if the game has no online, all MS has to do is put "LIVE" on the game case and it has a better frame rate, better graphics, extra content, etc. by default. Get with the times. PSN is like, so last year.
Did you mean bord, bourd, board, or bored? Like, OMG, there's so many ways to spell that! Which one is the correct one?
...yup, I'm bored...
My favorite thing is to see those 360 owners with Gamerscore's of like 30,000. Way to advertise to the world you have no life. I think Gamerscore is completely synonymous with "LoserTag". It's like saying, "Look, I have no job, no car, no girl, and no friends. I can play video games for weeks on end!" I couldn't care less about it, but that's just me.
Ok, I'll agree with that. Bubbles for not being a fanboy about it.
Who cares? UT has a very selective fan base who play the game. Epic did nothing with UTIII to add any innovation to the title and draw new customers to it. It's the same game it was ten years ago with better looking shiny stuff.
Killing with the same six or so weapons gets old after a while.
