I just beat the first Zelda (for the umpteenth time) and I could swear you got heart containers in that game to increase your life. Beat a boss, get a heart (not counting discoverable heart containers). Pretty simple formula. Or is he saying that getting heart pieces is the real innovation?
(He mentions heart containers being introduced in A Link To the Past. Maybe he never played the first Zelda?)
Scene it is pretty fun. It should be updatable via internet to eliminate getting the same questions, though. I have friends who've memorized so many answers it's unfair.

Stop that right now! It's obvious the PS3 is better than the best quadcore processor running with four of the best graphics cards money can buy. You could make a 32 core processor and link it with 10 $1000 graphics cards and 10 TB of RAM and the PS3 would still be better.

Ya dude, let's completely ignore the advent of modern gaming today. Don't you think that had something to do with differing opinions coming together and arguing the finer points of some games vs others? Games get better by taking the good aspects of past games and leaving out the bad. How is that? The only problem with doing it right now is the learning curve to develope on the PS3. Since the 360 and windows are so close in their architecture, that's not a huge strain on developers for porting. This is easily seen by the number of "360 exclusives" that are also available on the PC. So, it's basically the PS3's architecture that hurts multi-plat releases?

Agreed. People who base a game's worth solely on its critical review scores really need to get a life. I absolutely loved Persona 3, and it didn't get incredibly high reviews.

You're right, some devs choose to do an install to help loading times on the PS3. This is ultimately because a BD drive only reads at one speed. Other devs work around that problem in their coding of the game itself. It just depends on who is developing the game and what they decide to do.

I honestly don't think it would have mattered. I think you hit the nail on the head in that UT is more of a PC game. It has its fans but hasn't really done anything to draw more people to the game. It has a cult following...unfortunately, most of those people already play it on the PC.

I love how 360 fanboys act as if all games sell MILLIONS on their console. Wasn't Blue Dragon created by some of the masterminds behind FF games and it didn't even sell 500,000 copies.
