Exactly this. No one asked for this, I'm sure people would rather have a price drop.
Point is to keep charging customers the same price for the Switch and distracting them with the "Lite", instead of just making the console cheaper. Now your cheaper option just means less features.
The issue here is shoving race and sex in every goddamn thing. This whole article and discussion could be possible by just talking about how an alien race would be MORE interesting instead of how the white race shouldn't be there.
Playing as an alien race would make it more interesting to me, but playing as another human race or female would make no difference to me, and this is coming from a non-white person.
Seriously wtf, it should be the writer's discretion. You can't compromise art for politics.

"Innovation: make changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products."
It's the same thing, no need to argue over semantics.
Uhhhh the explanation is simple. Switch is a home console/handheld, and Switch Lite is a handheld. Congrats you win nothing.
Ah yes I agree in that case. King Kong was a good graphical showcase though, but not innovative.
RE4 wasn't from that generation though. In that generation Gears of war was the first innovative game that literally changed third person shooters. I'm going to get blind fanboy disagrees because some people can't handle positive comments about another piece of plastic, but I'm really speaking objectively. Before people get their panties twisted, innovative doesn't mean you invent something, it's taking existing or new features and making a combination that lends itsel...
It's a remaster not a sequel. You're trying hard to avoid my point that Nintendo consoles have missed amazing third party games that have been on Xbox 360/PS3 for time. Bioshock, Mass effect, Assassin's Creed, GTA, etc. etc.
I think they game would've been the perfect length if they made fast travel available on the menu didn't force you to go through slow narrative cinematic moments.
@rainslacker
Not being "fun" is subjective and not an issue. There are plenty of games I don't find fun yet others do. I had a ton of fun with it, and my little nephew had more fun doing non-shooting activities than anyone I've seen.
Inappropriate, everyone knows you only wear that outfit during battle!
It's because of Unreal engine. I've noticed in a lot of games any maps that feature such architecture tend to look like Bioshock, and it's a lot less evident in games that aren't Unreal.
I don't think Days Gone had a good player reception though, in their case it would be "sales gave Sony the confidence to let us have the opportunity to go ahead and make a sequel', because the game sold quite well. It's still a good thing though, devs can leave and improve.

The game is unfortunately not for fragile people, stick to fortnite.

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I wasn't talking about just reviews but if we're talking about reviews you can always discuss the issues, but in determining review scores or emphasizing what should be criticized if you feel the game's shortcomings are overshadowed by the game's triumphs you don't have to drag down the score. I would understand if the game was glichy or full of bugs but that's not the case, people just ...
I think the "issues" were ignored with good reason. I had the same gameplay issues with it that others had but you can't just focus on one component of the game when so many other components far overshadow and exceed in quality over other games. That includes the story, voice acting, graphics, engine, the ENORMOUS amount of things to do, the attention to detail, stupid amounts of missions, and the fact that every mission felt as well designed as a linear game like uncharted, I...
No other MP like it! Can't wait to pop heads!
LOL in what world is paying less for a game a bad thing, you're welcome to pay $60 for the same thing if it keeps your hard on going.
"Nintendo give you an option to save money if you prefer handheld only"
Uhh the way i see it Nintendo doesn't give you option to save money if you want a regular Switch, instead they give you less features if you want to save money. They're cleverly doing this instead of a price drop. Switch should be getting a price drop 2 years after release, its competitors can be bought for 2/3 of the price.
It's a good decision business wise, th...
