Honestly, I don't mind Cg reveals as announcements for games that won't be coming for while, but ffs at least show gameplay demos of games that are coming this year.

I had absolutely no interest in Ninja theory's game, looks like a F2P game with a cringey "shove everything into one" art style that I simply hate. Was disappointing since they are one of the best studio purchases known for making cinematic story driven games. But they have a bigger team working on another project so I'm banking on that.
Halo trailer was enough to get me excited but definitely too little, they obviously are waiting till next year to show ...
Honestly I could care less. Gears 4 had a terrible microtransactions system, but it had absolutely no effect on competitive multiplayer. That's how it should be. I hope they fix it for people that care but as long as it stays cosmetic I'm still happy.

Agreed! People get so hung up over their choice of Xbox/PS4 they don't realize that for a reasonable price you can own both and enjoy the best of both worlds, it really is awesome.
It's actually an insane deal if you keep gold anyhow. Most people renew every year, now they can just buy in advance and get gamepass with it for no extra charge.
Hell I'm going to buy gears 5 and Halo infinite anyway, for another $60 I can just get Gamepass Ultimate for 3 years and not even have to buy either of those.

They didn't state anywhere that Xbox Scarlett controllers won't have new features, they just said you can use XB1 controllers as well which is great.

I don't think anyone that complained would've wanted to not have an E3 at all. People were complaining by comparing the E3 presentation to their E3 expectations.
Hopefully they have their own conference though, that would certainly be better.

Ninja Theory is to blame for this (if it does flop). MS acquired them when this was already in development, Ninja Theory chose to make shit themselves I don't understand why.
Although I agree that Halo 5 multiplayer is amazing, I don't think the nostalgia argument works when the numbers and popularity speaks for itself. Halo gameplay has proven to stand the test of time over and over again, Reach still has a population and the gameplay is still smooth and enjoyable. I mean if people still play Halo 2 on MCC Reach is a non-issue, nostalgia runs out fairly quick and the games would be barren if they were just running on nostalgia.
