If you haven't played a lot Gears multiplayer before I can understand your assumptions, but whether you believe me or not I'll tell you a few things and give you my honest take.

You know the answer to that question if you think about it. He is the creative director on the game, his personal perspective is going to show through it no matter what. Think about God of war, Cary Barlog's relationship with his son greatly affected how the game turned out, and he also didn't include graphic nudity/sex etc.

Honestly i didn't see any massive improvement. WW2 and MW remaster look just as good. It has improved but it's nothing spectacular.

Yes but if it's a DRM locked game you can't share or re-sell it like you could with physical, so anyone wants it in the future can't get unless another source has it.
It looks literally like the modern warfare remaster graphically. I know SP usually looks better but after that trailer people were hyping up the graphics like it's some photo-realistic new phenomenon. It's exactly the same engine.
It's multiplayer though, every MP game looked downgraded compared to SP. You may have missed Gears 4 which is amazing graphically, or the Gears 5 campaign trailer.
Would love to see more exclusives from MS but I sure ain't tired of those 3. Unlike Nintendo and Sony exclusives Halo, Gears, and even Forza are some of the best multiplayer franchises that also have great campaigns. I keep 2 consoles for that reason.

I'll admit i don't follow Nintendo related news other than stuff i see on here, or on general gaming subreddit, but I've never heard anyone request this. I can assume people would want this, but would rather have a price drop. I don't understand why docking is considered an expensive feature, you're just mirroring what's on screen, the power comes from the system anyway. I would be ok if the Lite had an output allowing you to connect ...
It's co-op and it's actually quite interesting.
