Seriously, having an Xbox one and Ps4 gives me more games to play than i can handle. I have reserved the PS4 for exclusives. With the Gamepass ultimate bundle i do all my multiplats/console exclusives/multiplayer gaming on Xbox. When I decide to buy death stranding i'll pull out the PS4 again.

God of war is not a multiplayer franchise, it could afford to reinvent itself. How many multiplayer games do that?
Gears on the other hand has a huge multiplayer component. You can't just reinvent and expect it do well. The campaign was innovative in the franchise and actually very similar to god of war in it's new approach.
How many games do anything that's never been done before?
It does a lot that no other Gears game has done before, which is a franchise innovation. The campaign was never explorable with side missions, RPG mechanics and upgrades were never in Gears before. It's a much longer and more diverse game.

Gears is a really tough game to get good at online, I think boobs friendliness would he a blessing to newcomers because once they enter the more competitive gnasher space they get their ass handed to them

Maybe you haven't, but you can't deny that PC generally has more issues than consoles. Just the nature of it is such. You're also ignoring that PCs can have issues on their own that have nothing to do with gaming, but vicariously also affect gaming.
There's also no uniform identity of a PC. You can have a $2000 one and encounter no issues, or you can have a $200 one and encounter tons of issues. On the other hand an Xbox One ...
Yea i doubt it too, with the enormous success of Spiderman they would be pouring all resources into the sequel. I don't see them taking a risk with Sunset overdrive 2, at most they would port the first one to PS4.

Well it does matter if it's easier for your opponents to headshot you than for you to headshot them. Online PvP games are about competition and if it's not fair competition then it's not enjoyable.
PC is a bigger headache and must more prone to issues than consoles, i don't know what the author is talking about, games are running how they've always ran.
I would suggest getting an Xbox One and a PS4, you can get both for the price of a PC. Games are always optimized, it's always turn on and play, never have to worry about drivers and whatnot. You get Gamepass on XB1 and you can play all exclusives plus a ton of other games you don't have to buy separat...

Your bias is so blatant. Did you forget that Horizon was heavily praised for its graphics already? Did you forget TLOU2 and GoT aren't even out yet? You haven't even seen gameplay of GoT only the tech demo which they did not claim was how the game will look exactly like.
