Because that's how you do DLC!!
LOL
wtf i didn't even get to try it yet!
It's so stupid. I swear at this point I'm convinced IGN has some financial connection to publishers with their review, or they use some metrics to push their reviews to the front page of every gaming news site. Every time there's an IGN review it's at the headlines immediately, and now I've seen an IGN review from every damn country in the world. Why do they get so much credibility, it's not like their reviews are special.
Looks like Leon
lol at that outfit
And not to mention that gaming is a pastime hobby. As serious as people act online, no one is going to actively withhold themselves from experiencing something that's supposed to be an ESCAPE from every day life, just to make some sociopolitical stance.
Also at the end of the day, there are honest hardworking people that are actually creating these games. Lashing out at corporate shrills by boycotting their hard work doesn't help as much as people think.
I mean getting games like Outer worlds day 1 on gamepass is also something, enjoy paying $60 for it.
You have to be into some really generic sh*t to care about this lore, I don't know what people find interesting about a mashup of every possible random thing with no thematic consistency and a target audience of 5-13.
But sensibly speaking, I do know the production value of the story is ridiculous so I can imagine people caring about it in the same way as like a Pixar movie. Personally though there is nothing appealing to me.
I really have a hard time taking this game seriously, not sure how people invest in the story. It just looks so generic, but i guess that works well when you have to appeal to the mainstream and players of all ages.
Not to mention a game that was already overpriced. Most games at $60 have a campaign, multiplayer mode, a lot more content, and graphics far superior.
That makes sense, but it's not fair to other games that have much more effort put into their graphics and charge the same price. I always thought Overwatch was overpriced because of both graphics and content.
Then they shouldn't be charging $60 for it. There are games that look much much better than this with a lot more content, and are a lot bigger.
Why does it still look like an xbox 360 game?? This should be F2P.
Personally, I find exciting the fact that it has incredible graphics and atmosphere, and the mysterious story is so intriguing to me. Gameplay-wise I haven't seen anything yet that's super exciting to me, but the problem is really with the idea that it's a "walking simulator" just because you're not constantly fighting. Even if the gameplay turns out to be boring people can find excitement in the experience.
If you apply the same logic to other ga...
Looks like such a unique game, i have to play it!
Omg I can't wait to play this. Halo is one franchise I can play over and over and over and over again and never get tired. I come back to it every few months and indulge.
No comment on the actual game but art is absolutely stunning.
It would be hilarious if someone mods it so that you open your scrapbox and it takes you to the starting menu of the game.
actually one has III and the other has IV ;)
