Halo 5 runs at 60fps, Gears 5 runs at 60fps, Modern warfare runs at 60fps, Apex runs at 60fps. Only reason Destiny doesn't because they're using an old ass engine that they made Destiny 1 one on which was already cross-gen with even older consoles. An unstable 60fps is far better than being locked to 30fps. I switch between Destiny 2 and Halo 5 all the time on the OG Xbox one and Halo 5 is wayyy smoother every time.

It should have been 60 fps long ago, there are plenty of 60 fps shooters on last gen systems. This isn't a next gen update as much as it's an update to bring it to industry standards. The engine for this game is ancient, you can tell from the outdoor lighting. What makes up for it is the art style and skyboxes. I don't understand why you need a next gen system to run it at 60, the Pro and One X should be able to handle that easily.
Not to mention the enormous price difference lol. A $20 is never and should never be judged with the same criteria as a $60 game.

IMO unless the bugs are gamebreaking it shouldn't be such a big deal. There seems to be an insane amount of content and attention to detail. When you're doing something so ambitious you shouldn't be penalized for small flaws.
Completely disagree. Many of the reviews are calling it GOTG in scope and ambition. Pretty much all the points taken off are due to performance issues and glitches Personally I couldn't care less about glitches, it is an independent issue and as long as it's plays decently well i'm satisfied.
Well it can't be that hard to find celebrities that are more relevant to gaming? They can have Giancarlo Esposito instead, he's in the next Far cry. They can have Mads Mikkelsen or Norman Reedus, they're in Death Stranding. That can have Elliot Page from Last of Us 2. As far as I know Gal Gadot and Brie Larson don't seem to care about gaming.
Why pay $1500 just to run it marginally better when you can just wait for the patch.
That's true, but legendary is extremely hard with 2 players. With 4 players it would seem more like heroic, which I think would be fine. Also a simple increase in enemy health and damage might work. Another issue would be ammo and vehicle segments where vehicle are only available for 2 people.
Does it really matter now though? Everyone has experienced it in 2 player co-op by now, it would be nice to have 4 player co-op as a feature to try out as long as it's playable.
30 fps is the key, only noticeable current gen aspect of it.

But it's 4k on Series X, or will you just ignore that? Series S is also more than $200 cheaper than Series X/PS5 or will you just ignore that? It's cheaper than a One X and a PS4 Pro and it can still run next gen games...or will you just ignore that?
Wait you can't use PS4 controllers on the PS5?? Wtf why would they not allow that? The DS5 controller is great but it's freakin expensive! If you want to play split-screen or couch co-op you have buy another DS5, makes no sense to me. Not every game uses DS5 is some unique way.
