Just because the PS4 sells more on shooters this gen doesn't mean that it's their primary focus. You cannot tell me that Xbox's target audience is anything else but "dudes" from their teens to 30s lol
The majority of the heavy hitters that MS will be pushing the most of advert time are the same franchises as last year. It'll be the third year in a row of Halo and Forza, and second year of gears, halo and forza.
The rinse and repeat of those are why I myself don't see them striking back in any way whatsoever compared to the competition. Besides, whatever Nintendo has cooking up (good or bad) for their console will steal everyones thunder at E3 and during the holiday...
If you want variety and quality, go for PS4. If you want family friendly and all around fun go Wii U. If you want what was offered last year...well you know what's left.

I'm all for indies with Ori included (indies refer to budget of their development, not publisher), I don't knock it. But was that it? All the way till the end of August 2015?
Not just that, but the PS4 is delivering games all year long again. None of that waiting 10 months to play another exclusive, the way some people defended all year long.
I guess can see why they did. They had a lot of time on their hands. There's only so many times you can say you're playing "Screamride" until august.

Jokes aside, I waited for the Xbox to get lower in price to jump on one. But with the news that Nintendo's new "console" is being announced next week, I think I'll hold off. I've got plenty of backlog either way to continue playing. And after really considering it, I just don't like what MS has to offer in its limited genres of exclusive games.

Let's just forget that Xbox was graced with the amazing, 10/10 AAA...Pool Nation... For 3 months. PS+ is definitely and has been lackluster this year since it gave indies. But MS' indies don't count against it. /s

I think the games performance did that to itself lol not the media. But I agree, it shouldn't exist considering it's one of MS' top franchises above all else.
How is it a weak month because they're indies? Aren't you one of the ones consistently bringing up Ori anytime you can when it comes to exclusives? The majority of the games released with PS+ are actually fun to play. And last I checked, that's what mattered when playing games on a console.

I was too. There's been some hits and misses month over month.
I may be mistaken but there's a few from the whole listing in general that may not require either subscription to use. I could be wrong.

The controller will take a while to get used to with a different layout. But it's top quality and very comfortable compared to others and past versions.

I think it'll be fine. But my hype has definitely gone down a lot since I was hoping for a PSX launch like rumored during the summer.
Games that have been delayed over and over and over and over like Tom Clancy The Divison (which I jumped onto this gen for) and this are games that I have lost interest in. And I think the majority have unfortunately.
