You've made it clear that you're on the lower end of the IQ spectrum on this site lol changing up the definition of consumer confusion and thinking it's right.
Consumer confusion is when you have too many products out at once that all do the same thing with minor differences that only continually invested people know about (i.e., people who are on gaming sites). Consumer confusion is NOT about knowing 2 years ahead of time about something that doesn't exist...
Yet they baited you with a console that's almost 2 years away from launch LOL
They showed games that were shown last year, cancelled a few of them, leaked everything a week before, and, besides QB, they still haven't launched anything that's remotely worth while. The wait continues till Fall 2016 all over again lol
"Great to have options and a company that is transparent."
For gamers like us, it's an easy question. For the general public it's now. Ever heard of "Consumer Confusion"?
And MS is anything but transparent lol good attempt though. A for effort.
No kidding, I like how he just ignores the fact that Sony didn't repeat games that are coming out this year.
People are aware of games like NMS and GT. Sony did good in giving us a glimpse of what's to come alongside what's been released this year and what will be released within the next few months. Here's to hoping that they have more than just Gears, Forza and Halo as their 2017 fall lineup for another year in a row.
No 2 year loading time here, Sony is the clear winner for this year.
@eonjay
I got it too. Can we report him? His account should be deactivate with that sort of spam he's sending. I'd imagine his account is someone else's who doesn't mind it getting deactivate by doing that sort of stuff.
AAA game? It was already confirmed by Sony to be a AAAAA game. They mentioned this shortly after the reveal. I'm guessing you missed it.
Based on this comment, I think you've been playing too much Salt Simulator. I guess when you're waiting for the holiday games to come around, there isn't much else to play.
@343_guilty_spark
"They revealed the specs because they know Sony will be unable to match it."
Hmm, too much salt in one comment for my taste. Doesn't make sense that a software company (MS) would have better hardware innovation than a hardware focused company (Sony). How many years did it take for MS to not have a power brick, the size of a loaf of bread, tied to their console? Something Playstation took care of hardware wise in the PS2 day...
They showed their hand way too early. Holiday 2017? It would have been best to show it at next years E3.
Overall though, it's sounds like a beast of a console! They really kept putting the emphasis on the specs.
They took a page right out of apple lol if you can't beat them, join them!
Looks good though. I'm curious to see a physical size comparison rather than just percentages.
MS aren't in a position to hold off information though, and it's not a practice they normally do. I'm sure they'll discuss specs after the show in interviews, not spend time during the conference. Their focus is going to be that they're taking the lead on games and innovating hardware/software on all levels.
Now in regards to how successful they are at doing that...yeah that's a whole other story lol
I didn't even think of that. People are going to wonder "ok why should I even buy an Xbox now if this one is getting released soon".
All that I'm looking forward to now is the updates on software since they said big things are coming. I'm excited to see if I can get into the preview program. I'll probably just wait till lunch to see what updates there were, no need to watch if I know what'll be happening.
Other than that, everything has been leaked (Halo Wars 2, Gears gameplay, Recore, Zombie games, FH3, some battlefield single player gameplay, Halo Wars 2 beta, leaked Xbox Slim, and sev...
I agree on all points. I think with the leaky ship, that is MS' E3 conference, all that's left to speculate is the order of each of the leaked surprises.
Thankfully this hasn't bled over into the other conferences as much. I'm expecting a nice surprise from Nintendo for some reason!
That sucks. One leaky ship compared to the other conferences starting today.
So much for any surprises at E3 for MS...
Time to trade in my Xbox One to get this one! Curious if they'll come out with a black one. I'd like to switch out from the white one just cause I want my entertainment studio to match. I did the same with the Wii U a while back.
Finally somebody agrees with me!
Some Xbox fanboys like Septic and Rookie didn't appreciate my comparison of the two when it was announced last year.
Good to see another Metal Arms fan! We are far and few my friend.
Because there were a lot of games that were announced but not shown the way these are. This is also a lower budget game and that definitely shows comapred to games like Zelda, GOW, Horizon, or Gears.
