It's always best to have the best of both worlds.
-Best Performance
-Best Diverse Game Experiences (All year long)
There's still a major difference in all of that across all platforms. And it's clear who is on top.
What's funnier was when only COD, HALO, and Gears mattered. I remember so many fanboys on this site saying Exclusives don't matter unless it's those games...all while games like Uncharted, GOW, TLOU, MGS4 and more were releasing.
Now "exclusives matter"...yet the people who've flipped have no exclusives to play other than their reused and milked franchises.
"We'll see on Friday come PC release and this gets data mined."
Salt much? Sounds like someone isn't happy that this game is doing so well. It's an indie game with AAA appeal and you're expecting its to be at the level of big name franchises. Talk about unrealistic expectations.
This is what happens when people look at a game for what it's not rather than what it is. This isn't your yearly dude bro franchise. They've...
@Septic
Maybe because the odds are so low that they didn't expect it to happen often. Especially since there's no matchmaking process in comparison to fully online games. Hope I've made it easier to understand such an already easy concept.
@Overload
People are always going to be envious of who is on top. Them being impatient over waiting months for new exclusive games...even though the franchises are milked dry by now. I'm glad t...
Vita upgrade? What , what?
I love my vita! So this would be awesome. This could be Sony's initative to take on NX and Scorpio with an early spec bump in all hardware areas months before. Essentially sealing up the market in hardware and exclusives once again.
No MP?
They already confirmed that there is and that server errors from the immense amount of players was the cause. Just the fact that they had 10million species accounted for on the first day is amazingly crazy. All the PS4 players are really hitting the servers.
Sounds like all of the nonsensical overreacting had no basis at all, and was a simple server problem with the immense amount of people playing it.
People with too much time on their hands waiting for the holiday are trying to pick this game apart at every level. They don't under stand that picking up a copy and playing it is the best way to experience it. No way you can experience this game through a gaming forum.
I think everyone who got the game knew what they were getting. There's just a lot of people who've had plenty of time on their hands since April after beating the only new exclusive game they've gotten all year.
The fact that they're still waiting and will continue waiting is the reason why there's no much hate going toward this game. Those who haven't played it are missing out big time on a really unique experience.
No question on that. They're two completely different genres, but one has an almost infinite amount of gameplay to offer.
Couldn't agree more with you. The "Spring Blockbuster" fell flat on its face. No replay value in any sense whatsoever. I couldn't get through more than 30min with it.
NMS on the other had, in at about 5 hours so far. And I know for a fact that it'll be another 5+ before the weekend gets here.
Dude bro games in general have been the scum of the gaming industry. It only makes sense that the PS4s diversity has been attributed to them not making dude bro exclusives but rather diverse experiences for a wider range of audience.
I've just contributed with 2!
This SpaceRanger is off to bed. The universe can wait till tomorrow lol
"if MS or Nintendo: These practices anti consumers, sony godnees .... "
Are you not doing that for Xbox right now? You could literally replace any company and it still makes you sound like a fanboy...or how you put it, part of the cancer to the gaming industry.
Can you stay on topic please instead of trolling and adding gas to a fire? No one except you both are talking about Halo.
Edit:
Nice stealth edit. Changing your comment from the previous one where you brought up the Halo comparison again.
One person mentioned it, not everyone on this site lol chill out. No one except one other delusional fanbase thinks it's a system seller....and it's not the Nintendo fanbase.
I don't find it strange at all. There's been talk over the last year, and more recently that current PS4s may be able to support 4K via a software update. My knowledge on the technical side of this is limited, but there seems to be a good amount of evidence leaning toward that. Potentially meaning that no one needs to spend more money for another PS4 that is already slim. Would be a game changer if true!
Never seen Sony react to MS when it comes to anything hardware. All last gen it was the other way around with HDMI, wi-fi and more. This gen it's even more examples of hardware following with bluray, Bluetooth, internal power supply and more.
Not to mention that the rough estimates I've seen put the volume of the PS4 still smaller than the Xbox One S (unless the other site's calculations of specs were off). So, I'd say the answer is an easy no.
Unless you have a quality PC, keep waiting till you get even close to native 4K+HDR on any console.
Now that's a level headed and well written comment. Props to you man. And I agree with you. I'm thinking a lot of these conversations stem from PokemonGo. But I can definitely see two great points from both sides of the aisle on this topic.
@81BX
On waiting all year for new exclusives and having lower performing games. Yup you're right about that. XB1 definitely has the advantage there in those categories.
For the ones I listed, PS4 is the clear answer. Hope the clarification helps.
