@TheHorseTamer
You clearly didn't read my comment correctly. I was comparing last gen PS+ to this gen. Not PS3 games to PS4 games now.
You're joking right? All gaming subscriptions go on sale several times a month with their deals.
Indies are bad all of a sudden? People are paying to play online. With the benefit of games each month.
Want to know why PlayStation is unmatched with exclusives? Because they invested into indies throughout the PSOne and PS2 era. Those devs merged or grew and developed better games that have become the AAA ones they have now.
Imagine if a company decided to not properly support indies other than Minecraft. They'd be stuck with the same franchises each year as...
Considering the need for proper market sustainability, the price increase has been expected for a while. It happened recently outside of the US/Canada. Not happy, but not surprised.
Friendly Gamer Tip:
If you follow IGN Deals, they discount PS+ and other yearly gaming subscriptions by 20% or more pretty regularly.
Quality of PS+, compared to the PS3 days, has definitely increased. I wouldn't be surprised if they talk more about it (improvements and what to expect) come their September Event.
Edit:
Last gen it was a PS3 game and a PSOne/PSP game each month. Now it's several games across PS4/PS3/PS Vita. Don't agree with me? Comment with a discussion point instead of trolling.
No kidding, look at the comparison to the controller! As always, Sony way ahead with their hardware compared to its competition.
Now that's what I call a slim! I wonder if Neo is going to be shown or if it'll be held till next year.
Edit:
I' hoping for Neo to come out this year (clarification). But I've been hearing that this might be one of the major highlighted focuses for this year's hardware. That's why I'm curious to see if they'll be putting Neo up against NX and Scoprio next year.
Nah I doubt it. Sony would have to be deceptive and provide arbitrary numbers for that example to make even the slightest bit of sense.
Imagine if MS was the one doing that though...oh...wait....
It doesn't make sense that people are seeing the "unprecedented demand" as something to be touting when MS was VERY clear that the Xbox One S was limited in numbers worldwide. I imagine that the majority of their sales came from the older model being cheap. Edit: Majority of the leading sales from last month overall.
Worldwide and overall I'm sure consumer interest hasn't changed the slightest for it.
I think they're talking about them and their company's perception of a console. With their push to PC and diminished sales, I wouldn't be surprised if they jump ship after this gen.
Doesn't matter how old the game is, they were talking about the drop within the year of its release. They state that it's the same as any other game that is similar...yet fail to realize that it only happens to other games (COD, BF) because they release a new game and people go to that, not because it falls flat. They stay pretty consistent with numbers till the next installment comes out.
They had all the gaming features from the start? And you're listing forward compatibility even though everyone has stated it will be like that from now on.
"Don't worry, we will all wait."
I'm sure you don't mind, since no one will respond to you being a fanboy. And you all have been waiting for a lot of things this year, haven't you. Tell me again how long it has been since April or last November?
"Well I haven't yet played it..."
That was enough for me to know when to stop reading. Play it first (buy, rent, borrow, etc.) and then make a sound decision. If you're going in with a bias or unrealistic expectations to playing it (which clearly there is based on your articles) then don't even bother.
I couldn't tell if the "/s" was for the whole comment?
Nonetheless, I'm guessing you're a little frustrated that they tricked you into buying it thinking it would be that small? I don't blame you. That's how false advertising works.
Man the difference in the ads is HUGE! The original depiction showed it as the size of the bluray drive. Can't believe people on this site were saying that false advertisement didn't matter and that it actually was a depiction of the Xbox One S' size.
I work with data analysis day in and out. No one who is smart would say that after 1 month they have enough evidence to back up such a claim.
You can have the most powerful console ever made. But if you have no games, other than the continually used franchises, there is no point.

Subtle and efficient! There's always room for improvement, but I'm glad they've stuck to the core UI and didn't do a complete overhaul.
I agree. I lucked out and found a planted with tall Gold mountains and another littered with Albumen Pearls. Once you find a planet like that it just takes a trading post and time.
From there you'll cash in quick to move on to the deeper galaxies.
@BossBattle
Maybe to you? So I guess it's better to get over-milked franchises every holiday then right? Look how many are coming out this holiday season that had something in their franchise launch last holiday season.
