You do realize that both those games come out in the fall right? The earlier being September lol
Oh man you’re older than me by a few. You’ve gotta remember Ezio’s trailers. This one hardly had any assassins creed stuff besides the blade.
Not bad mind you, just nowhere near the best.
You must be too young to remember some of the earlier trailers with Ezio. Those were awesome!!
Wii U? Nintendo has never followed a console generation. They go at their own pace.
Sad that the Wii U is still closest in competition to the Xbox One by that logic.
Access to a catalog? That’s the one connection you feel makes it the “Netflix of Gaming”? And then you negate the one thing that set Netflix apart from the competition early one STREAMING. Unless you’re under the age of 16, I can’t see how you can’t remember that.
With GamePass you’re limited to being on your console. I can watch Netflix from just about anywhere and not wait for them to download... especially when MS has throttled download speed for the time being. Sorry, t...
I think people calling it “The Netflix of video games” shows that it’s more than just a simple false association to the subscription model.
Especially considering how other Streaming services were up as subscriptions before GamePass was even an idea.
For me nothing beats the original battlefront games. The limiting if no star cards or anything like that really evened the playing field.
Battlefront 2 this time around us good, but in its own way.
Both Elite controllers had some quality issues for the bumpers, but I don’t think for stick drift. Could be wrong since the first elite had a higher than normal failure rate for certain parts that MS began looking into it to address.
It’s literally nothing like Netflix. I’m not sure how or why people see that comparison.
There’s no streaming involved at all with GamePass. Google’s work with Stadia is closer to meeting that title than GamePass, along with my other new streaming platforms meet that description so much closer.
Indefinitely? Says who?
Lmao you’d be missing a good chunk of brain cells if you thought a sequel to a game of the decade would be shelved indefinitely.
Gtfoh? Buddy they said it was a team of top devs when announced.
Just found out they don’t think their own studios have devs to pull from to even have a good role in this studio. I guess you all are right, no shortcomings when you make sure to only get talent. We’ll see what game they make in 5 years.
“ No? The Initiative was built from scratch with devs from top studios like Rockstar, Naughty Dog, Crystal Dynamics, Insomniac, etc.”
Oh! That’s interesting. Strange those top studios don’t include people from MS’s own studios. Good to know.
Why all this talk about Sony? Isn’t this a conversation about MS?? And to top it off bringing up a conference from 14 years ago!
Lmao the insecurity is showing hard with some of you today. Clearly there’s no room to reason. Have a nice night guys.
Has anyone played this game? Is it any good?
“ When you say things like "she’s going to single handedly fix the short comings of The Initiative as a studio", who are you speaking of???”
Go look at the tweets buddy! Hasn’t released its first came yet??
And is the studio not made up collected devs from other Xbox studios. Wasn’t that made clear at the beginning when they announced it. Talent doesn’t change with a new office or name. Feel free to inform me if I’m wrong. I thought that was imp...
Most of the people who were there last gen and closed off the Xbox gen poorly are doing the same and are still there.
Like all companies, the suits are still calling the shots. Their half-baked PR with “the greatest lineup in history” several years in a row, and their fake “exclusives” E3 event shows it’s still more of the same. They’ll keep doing it even with this next gen.
Oppression tactics? Lmao!
They simply hired her and tweets don’t meet the requirement of this site. Simple as that, no need to cry about it. This is a long-standing rule that everyone understands.
As it is, she’s not going to magically make their work better overnight. According to some on this site The Initiative is probably making a launch game for Series X, so is she now going to overhaul the game to be even half of what Naughty Dog puts out? Or are th...
It always amazes me how people turn a simple hire to something so over the top.
Her work speaks for itself. But it amazes me that people make it seem like she’s going to single handedly fix the short comings of The Initiative as a studio.
Yay! Old and mostly unremarkable games in 4K! /s
Stadia’s support, performance and content has been lackluster until now. Especially when compared to PlayStation’s offerings with first party games. It almost seems like Google is doing it all half effort.
Game looks good! Hoping it actually is considering most of the “Xbox Exclusive Marketing Rights” games have been absolutely mediocre this gen.
Talk about Xbox backing the wrong horses...
