Two companies that have been scrutinized for data collection practices, Facebook being the worst of the two. This is a partnership MS should have stayed away from.

Couldn’t agree more! Hopefully this doesn’t mean more “social media” integration next gen from this partnership. Facebook gaming is absolute trash.

I mean people truly thought this was going to overtake Twitch. Some even acted like getting Ninja as an “Exclusive” streamer meant something. It literally did nothing.

I’m sure they’d fall into the same pit if they attempted VR.

Speculation from who? Randoms online?
Their reveal was anything but tacked on during their presentation. A lot of intentionality to show it to everyone. I’d believe that if it was poorly and randomly presented during the reveal.

So we should expect 4K 60 on every Xbox game? This should be fun to watch. Definitely saving this for later when any game runs less than 4K 60.

Sounds like PS5 is going to be the console to play this on. Nice!

As much as people say MS can lose money on consoles because they can afford it, it would actually be borderline illegal here in the states due to FTC laws that prevent those practices.

Based on their history and current plans, it’ll have to be Xbox branded mods.

Quantity doesn’t automatically mean quality. That’s the issue most are seeing. Especially when we’re talking about a company that touted so pretty poor performing (game wise) games this gen.

There’s been rumors of updated PSVR hardware being included. Thus adding to some of the size. Not sure the validity of that, but it would make every PS5 VR ready without an additional box.

The ports in the back would be a first indicator before a true tear down.

Pretty sure all sources are pointing toward it just being a disk less X1X with a similar console design. Easy to manufacture and easy to continue focusing on this current gen. Especially since they’ve been lacking for quite a few months.

This sounds awesome!!!! The minor rumors of this had me excited, but hopefully it’s something more than just the space battles version of battlefront. Possible VR support?

What I’m curious about though is if there’s repercussions for this. It wasn’t intentional, but this is a big time leak that I’m sure EA was holding up their sleeve as a “one more thing” surprise. Now just like that, it was ruined.

I’m pretty sure everyone knew it was 3rd party stuff. No one commented on that back then. What they did comment on was the lack of substance and gameplay at their event. So... definitely not the same thing lol

One of my favorite games shown for sure!

Lmao! Some of you all are outside punching the air after that presentation.

Some have said that there could be heating issues down the line in a few years with people’s XSX collecting dust through the top vent.

Nice!! Definitely a plus!

It also can be layed flat. This is the same way they marketed the PS4. It looks so small and slim for a first iteration of a console.

What would have been a better design? Curious.
