Yeah he actually shuts down that argument quickly in his other tweet. It’s just strange to not see him want to pick up an Xbox even when he played a huge part in next gen.

Hmm, sounds like a lot of people don’t really spend time on this game. I know quite a few streamers played it for extended periods of time this years, but I guess that’s the minority.
I didn’t see any clarity on that in the article, so it could possibly be that a large portion played only for a handful of minutes. Based on some articles I read about how long it takes to get all achievements, it probably isn’t much time wise.
We’ll never know until MS decides to release that info.

Well when you have a fanbase sayings Xcloud is going to revolutionize streaming and how GamePass is the Netflix of gaming... it only makes sense that he has to keep reiterating it.
The vocal fanbase and Xbox fanboys don’t even support those games. It’s been a pathetic showing for support this gen with the various exclusives they did get.
It seems more like challenging the fanbase’s response. Sure there’s a good amount of the fanbase begging for Xbox to change its ways, buy more studios and make more exclusives...
... but the truth is, the fanbase needs to also support those exclusives. We’ve seen a lack of that this gen.
Not automatically. But the fanbase will move pretty quick into next gen (based on comments from all parties, I’m guessing some console trade in program). The trade in program and the libraries from this gen is what will keep people within the same console family.
The current 2 to 1 ratio will probably stay the same for the early part of the gen.
Honestly, with the push for all digital (even more so from MS) I’d say next gen is set already and will be more of the same. Similar consoles with similar libraries differentiated by gaming features and exclusives. And by next gen being set, I mean most gamers will stick to the console they can play their libraries on. With both consoles gaining backwards compatibility for this gen, it would make no sense for people to abandon their library from this gen.

It goes all ways. Heck people got mad when the Switch passed Xbox sales leaving them in last place and others got pissed when they said it’s on track to eventually do the same to the PS4. And then you have others who get mad at anythingPC related (ports, graphics, etc) that are better than console.
You must’ve missed the countless failed promises and slip ups from MS this last gen if you’re wondering where there’s doubt from anything Xbox in the gaming community.

That’s a lot of talk based on one trailer. The devs will obviously put their heart into it like their last game, but that is only a portion of what makes games good. Hopefully they deliver next gen without too much meddling from the higher ups. We all know how that turned out last gen...
