You do realize that hitting 4K isn't that hard right? Tone down textures, animations and frame rate and you've got yourself a nice 4K picture.
In regards to the 4 titles to be announced. They mean nothing till it actually happens. Nintendo has been saying the same thing and people have been ripping into them since they announced the Switch. And that's because they didn't make people wait a year and a half for it.
Ahh good ol' moldy...waiting for games as usual (:
30fps is bad?
The reason people don't take you and other fanboys seriously is because you all make it seem like Xbox games magically started performing better when Scorpio was announced. News flash...there are still games on Xbox that play at 720p. Scorpio can't and won't change that for the 25million current Xbox one users.
"Nobody knows the current shape of their first party..."
Are you that oblivious? The state of MS' first party is crystal clear.
Halo Wars 2 came out...and now what? Another year of waiting months before another AAA first party game releases? They keep doing this because their consumers eat anything up without thinking.
That's because their hardware innovation (the thing people can visibly see and is tangible) consistently falls flat.
- Original kinect
- Xbox One Kinect
- HD-DVD
- Xbox One Graphical Power
- Hololens (touted for gaming yet then backtracked)
- Xbox 360 RROD
They've continually shaped it in ways that do not fit well with the industry or the consumers.
"This has to be a reaction to Game Pass."
I can taste the saltiness. This is hardly a reaction when this hardly changes anything about PSNow other than adding more games.
"As great as this might be Sony should include PS2 and PS1 games to the PSNow library."
Licensing issues (especially for music in game). Not so simple. For now there's enough of a backlog with 483 games to stream.
It'll be powerful for sure. Hopefully there's enough 1st party support coming in.
All I know is that Xbox fanboys have a strange perception of time. Since when does "soon" = 8 months?
I played this game for what they marketed it as and definitely enjoyed it. I didn't go in with any other expectations for the type of gameplay I wanted, only what they showed and said.
A sequel to this would be more than welcome in my book!
I think the main point is that no one will be eager to jump to a new console that has a limited amount of new/unique/exclusives releasing for its ecosystem. People are buying Switch because they know exclusives will come.
And you're right. PS4 primary owners have nothing to worry about with Scorpio and support. We just get tired of hearing about MS as competition for Sony, when MS' closest competition is nintendo (sales and number of exclusives).
Two cons for the Xbox? Someone is living in a fantasy world lol
Totally not even the right title??
On Topic:
This article taking stretching the truth to a whole new level. I don't see how anyone can honestly come to this conclusion with the points they made?
Yes, because TLOU was an over-milked, mindless shooter focused on eliminating aliens. /s
I wonder how many games you've had to endure with that much mindlessness.
"...pure bread..."
Lmao!! Calling other people retards and can't even spell a four letter word? 😂
"Errr Right...because people expected a mid-gen console to have launch titles?"
I think people expected the actual on-cycle console to have games. Too bad that continues to fall flat each year, and seems to be set to happen again this year with their new console.
The unsymmetric layout just isn't comfortable imo. It's an unnatural hand position, scientifically speaking. They should have stuck to the Wii U Pro controller button setup for a better layout.
But regardless of that, I've only heard good things about the pro controller. The HD rumble alone brings in a whole new category of features for controllers overall.
The thing is, they're two completely different services. Think about it, you could play PS3 games on your vita or tv as well when it was supported. Not just the PS3 or PS4.
That kind of puts more emphasis on why this wouldn't have been possible for it. However, I could see it happening solely for the PS4.
They're talking about Switch's launch lineup, not this year's exclusive lineup for the Xbox One.
It is AAA, what are you getting at? It's an excellent game!
@nX
His tone changes every E3 (summer) for a couple of months. It's nothing new, just a facade. Then come the holidays and he acts like MS has been delivering all year.
What's worse is that he doesn't realize that he's been touting Scorpio as a "beast" and "most powerful console" for about 9 months already. Literally just based on a 2 min video from the last E3. Still no Scorpio in sight for another 8-9 months.
@TangentialShark
When you're games already look as good as Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc., then reducing textures is not a smart way to go. You should be used to both scenarios by now with most of Xbox's exclusives running at "Dynamic resolutions".
