not to mention if you're going to try and fill human vision COMPLETELY with a virtual reality type device you'll need at least 4320p (if 2080p was 2x better than 1080p it'd be 2160p :P), if not its just going to be too small a FOV or way too blurry.
But isn't the next stop 1440p? I don't think they are going to double with resolutions without milking each increment first. Halting progress for profit is an unexpected turn to Moore's Law lol
this version doesn't look all that exciting, but ffs ITS 2011!
Did they have Ipads back in 1985? No, they had dustbusters and sports almanacs.
The only thing holding HR back from a 100% true Deus EX experience, is the start of the game. They should have dunked you in the midst of the overwhelming options immediately and told you to learn to swim. That first couple of hours in the original Deus EX of "REALLY? HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO....oh, ok." doesn't come until after the "prologue". Thats really the only complaint I have with the game though.
Even in the old linear corridor shooters yo...
axel was the best, but hes looking kinda "meh" compared to the rest of the cast they've shown.
my interest in this game just increased greatly
if you take out "going into the menu every 2 minutes" it can sometimes make action-rpg games lose their true RPG feel and just feel like an action game.
lol its funny because you're a pc gamer and act like you wont find the mod for this in 48 hours after release :D
I can see the reasoning based on player feedback, however. "Repairing" is such a poor incentive, if anything its just incentive to not use heavy armor at all. Although they could have tied in the allure of upgrades first, with the skill, and tied in the repairing along with it. but then some people would be shit out of luck (arguably part of the exper...
various other reasons like:
Clerk taking waaaaaay to much time attending a first time shopper mom with her 5 year old kids who will never come back again, and can't decide if they want the plus program, or the warranty, or the pre-orders, etc.
EVERY GOD DAMN TIME
at first I really liked it, but the driving handling just doesn't have that same skilled nuance of the previous Drivers and Stuntman games..
they sold out to burnout/nfs :/
If sony did drop PSN for Steam officially from here on out...
I would drop a steam-y deuce in my pants whilst pssn'
mouse/keyboard

cross-platform
the game may end up being sub-par, who knows, but its definitely not to early to call which version superior. Those three things are BIG deals to anybody remotely interested in CS (specifically mouse/key+cross platform).
Console FPS players are scrubs(not noobs) and can't play to win. After the first two weeks of the game, after the casuals leave bitching about camping, you're going to...
I didn't know COD released downloadable-only games with a reduced price
I'm getting this solely for the fact PS3 is supporting Mouse+Keys, that my PC is dead, and that I just can't enjoy multiplayer FPS games on a twin stick. (kudos to those that can, but the random switches in acceleration drives me nuts)
I'm not going to outright disagree with saying this is better than MGS
but you have obviously never played MGS4. The AI was damn smart if you played on the higher difficulties. The box pretty much never works besides in MGS 1 and MGS 2. They see for quite the distance.
because running a successful business in America is only possible if you're a complete sociopath. FACT.
those GRAPHICS couldn't last forever
they did hold up for quite some time, I'll give em that
judging by your attitude I'd say give it at least a few weeks, and then evaluate if you still want it.
How many people still play it though? Nearly everyone who bought it at launch that I know gave up on it after only a couple of months.
Not saying its bad or anything...
shoryuken.com
"it already gives a lot for 15 bucks"
"not as bad as we've been screwed in MVC3/SF4"
no I'm not making those up. People really are THAT FUCKING STUPID.
