different cultures
the "majority" of people in US who would like "sports" (in quotations to include e-sports) are into the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL
Good luck trying to persuade those AMERICAN fans. Its just not going to happen that way
its a sub-culture but one steadily gaining in popularity. As more and more money gets thrown at tournaments it will grow, but make no mistake, its going to be for gamers and not the average "...
E-sports has been embraced in the US
its just not a nation-wide obsession like other countries
In summary: USA != Asia
Nah...
San Andreas is
but GTA3? meh, its basically the same gameplay but without all those mamby pamby "physics"
As far as initial "wow" moments, yea I'll give GTA 3 that. Opera ftw
oh yea almost forgot the DODO!
I loved learning how to keep that thing flying forever. It was worth the effort
good man, nor am I!
I have nothing against female game players
I have EVERYTHING against the desperate attention whore types who seem to feed off all the loser guys who fall for the same old sh*t
guys wise up, quit being retarded
its going to be great
sucks for the noobs though lol
i bet thats why it wasn't like this in BC2: they wanted good people to carry the bad ones
I'm a fan of supporting the protection of endangered species too.
zinggggg!
Dane Cook is nothing but a leech
even if both are at the same quality
still a mistake imo
give one your full attention before considering the other so you dont get burnt out on two games at the same time :D
everyone loves the feel of a brand new game purchase, why overindulge when you can spread it out
Well who can blame them
as much as the shooter market gets saturated, very few companies actually set the bar for gameplay for years to come
in other words: shooters can get generic so people think they will always be generic without more elements tacked on...
but if one of the big boys actually innovated on the mechanics, just plain action could be fun again and just as immersive as any RPG hybrid attempts to be. could be....
TL;DR: ...
ughhh
Of course USEFUL positive info like this gets buried once the N4G hivemind decides to start hating on a game they know nothing about.
it really is pathetic...
Health is fine
BC2 core mode was too much health
hardcore mode was slightly too little
now its perfect. No more stupid bunny hopping knifers. GOOD F*CKING RIDDANCE
'durp i herd about screen tearing 1 time from someone smart so now i think i know everything "
you mean gears of parkour
:D
"quick sand" areas are being patched during the beta says devs
lol I guess I didn't have to wait long but I already made a UK PSN account and I'm at 65%
If I can't play BF3 beta tomorrow because of this Ima smack a bitch
I agree. BF has always covered many styles of maps, not JUST big open playgrounds for vehicles. Its good to see them make a map that isn't copy-pasting things and has real character to it.
Karkand (as well as other sections of bf2 maps) was a meat grinder by those alleyways. People seem to forget that. It was also a map that was very popular to play infantry only. All of this "it isn't BF unless it has jets" is just overzealous BS.
Also: Pe...
Not to be rude, but have you ever played a battlefield game? You can get anywhere with vehicles very shortly. Walking long distances on maps like this one usually isn't recommended depending on the circumstance.
However, if I was playing the map I'd want to go take my time exploring at first too.
This game is going under the radar, when, personally, I think its one of the best games to come out in a long time.
"Everything in it just feels like it has such a flavor and history to it; it’s honestly hard to put into words"
and that word is: LEGIT.
