Can we get a new arkham game? instead of this live service rubbish, and the upcoming suicide squad live service rubbish.
Callisto is outpacing it so far? Well that sucks, this is leagues and bounds superior, hopefully it has good legs.
A bare bones lazy port, capped at 30fps, with frame pacing issues and texture glitches compared to the Dead Space ramek? Which is excellent btw/
Well, they made claims about some FF games with no proof, not like it's unusual for Phil or MS to lie.
It's also a very disappointing port on both systems, graphical glitches, 30fps cap, frame pacing issues on Xbox, very low effort and barebones. Why not base it off the 2007 XBLA version? 60fps, toggle between the new graphics and original, instead we get this no effort disappointment.
Comparing this barebones port to any remaster/remake is an insult to those games lol.
@obscure so now you're talking about engines? How is an engine relevant here? Any engines used by sony studios clearly hasn't had any impact on any games graphical quality and success.
So while you're baselessly bashing spiderman and conveniently ignoring that there having been 4 forza games since 2017, with another on the way, I'll be enjoying Playstation output here and seeing the success of these titles and you'll be celebrating how many miles were dr...
@obscure
'Spiderman 2 will be nothing but another glorified DLC that Sony will shove down your throat as a fully fledged game at full price, just like they did with Miles Morales. Lol.'
You say this when the 50th Forza game is releasing this year which I'm sure you'll hype the heavens.
What a load of baseless delusional assumptions about a game they haven't fully shown off yet, didn't SM1 sell over 20 million cop...
@obscure, ah I see, so goalposts move and they now I guess we call them 'service exclusive', I'm surpsied MS don't run with that to go with their usual 'console launch exclusive' line.
'only FF16 and SM2'
Ah yes, 2 very small games compared to the juggernauts of Redfall and Starfield. Even if it remains at 'only' those 2 releaes, that's 2 pretty big hitters.
'I doubt the competition to have such strong lineup of games to compare'
Well, considering 3, possibly 4 of those games you listed are multiplatform, not sure how you come to this conclusion, especially so early in the year.
In true MS fashion, success is anything other than sales numbers.
I mean, everyone knows how well the Switch is selling, but lets not pretend Nintendo haven't always been an outlier doing it's own thing with it's own handheld esque corner the market, still impressive nonetheless.
But the focus right now is on the eons more powerful current gen systems, hence it's much more of a takling about point than an almost 6 year old system.
@flawless, may be day one GP for those but 3 of them are multiplat titles, MH is way more popular on PS, Stalker 2 exclusivity is up in the air.
I'm sure Starfield and Forza will be successful, but Redfall doesn't look that great to me, and it's always a roll of the dice with Bethesda, I hope it makes upgrading my PC sooner rather than later worth it.
Switch is a sales monster and is going hard, I'm honestly surprised it didn't start to fizzle out unlike the Wii, I guess the appeal or it being a handheld with the main model being able to be played on a TV still holds a huge broad appeal.
PS5 going strong as well now that supplies are much less constrained, outselling Xbox quite considerably, guess the price rise (which I do not condone at all) has had no impact on what people want.
Kinda wish they used used the same remaster graphics from the unreleased version as an option, will grab this on switch I think in the coming days.
It's releasing on switch as well on the same day.
Guess with so many supposed active users they don't need Activision then.
MS are allergic to actual raw sales numbers unless they outsell the competition, which very rarely happens these days.
Ah yeah, it would help if I read the whole damn headline lol.
