'Sony cry about MS buying ABK but they buy studios and multiplatform games'
Oh look, the same usual false equivlalency being parroted again.
That would be dropping almost 70% of call of dutys console revenue for a petty revenge move, would never in a million years happen, shareholders, investors and the rest of the board would never let that fly and it would be incredibly stupid.
So if this deal falls through, Activision are going to drop 70% of their console revenue for a petty revenge move? Lmao, don't think shareholders and investors would be too pleased.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
lmao such a predictable comment from orchard.
Oh that's a nice little shadow drop, I might grab it, been too long.
Oh big bad Tencent, please the oh so benevolent Microsoft save us and my multi million hundred pay off :(
The current UK government is actually very pro big business, hence most of them get away with paying virtually no tax using loopholes that they won't lift a finger to close, but the government do not sway regulation bodies so these things aren't mutually exclusive.
Bobby is just blowing hot air as he wants his big pay day.
So if the deal fails they'd just stop releasing games in a petty revenge move? Yeah I'm sure all the shareholders will be happy with missing out on the billions CoD makes on Sony platforms, much more than Xbox generates for them, I'm sure they'll allow that.
Paging activision exec with this info as we speak.
Because there are too many of them, and too many following the same model of F2P, battlepasses, microtransactions etc.
Lol what a joke, an easy fix that's been a major issue for many years and nothing can be done about it because of a 'no lawsuit' clause effectively.
So of course Nintendo won't bother as the switch will keep selling by the truckload regardless lol.
yeah ok whatever you say,
Don't say that, he'll report it directly to the Activision exec.
Lol copium.
As if this generic looking far cry looking game couild sound any worse. Arkane are capable of so much better than this.
False equivalency, spending 80 billion on publishers just to gain IPs and take them away the competition =/= a handful of 3rd party exclusives and timed exclusives (which MS continue to do btw).
Microsoft is playing the victim to the point of downplaying themselves as a tiny 2 trillion dollar company that can't compete unless they are allowed to start a monopoly and will go bankrupt unless they can push the buy out through, it's laughable.
@jerome we'll see, I'd like to be proven but some other sources corroborated those leaked screens despite what an ex-dev said.
I'd rather Sony and Nintendo keep doing what they are doing with gaming than Microsofts approach, which is just throwing their money around to try and start a subscription only monopoly by buying up all the big IPs. They are a stain on gaming and I hope that the regulators stop this nonsense acquisition or at least, heavy concessions if it's passes, it's complete nonsense that MS need activision to compete when they already own more studios and IPs than Sony, playing the victim as...
