Is this really what Crash fans wanted? As a huge fan of the franchise this is a resounding no from me, but I expect it to be F2P and fully monetised and it being Activision, can't say I'm surprised.
@343, yeah just like how MS said they would do that to the EU antitrust regulators and then u-turned on that right after? Can't trust a thing Phil says.
And MS don't want to dot that by spluring 80 billion to take away many large IPs from Playstation? Don't make me laugh lol.
It's funny isn't it, the blatant false equivalences.
A handful of timed exclusives = MS are fully justified spending 80 billion on publishers to take away countless multiplatform IPs from the competition most of which have seen consideradably more success on Playstation in the last several years.
All this while ignoring MS still buy timed exclusives constantly as well. but apparently FF16,7R and SF5 (which they funded) is the same as swooping up E...
Yeah it's honestly ridiculous when the PS5 gets lumped in with the barren wasteland on the Xbox side this year lol.
@gamer
More original than yearly Forza, and the occasional gears and halo.
@Stark yeah ok, when are you gonna stop making alt account after alt account after getting yourself banned over and over? You're just sad lol.
Guess we know now why Sony sent 150 employees to help out lol. Hopefully the devs can iron out issues with the other versions, disappointing to see as this game had quite a bit of hype behind it, it's all fallen a little flar now that it's released.
I've a friend who had a review code for this, said performance was bad even on PS5, glitchy, very dull, lack of enemy variety, poor weapons.
The review embargo lifting on release date set alarm bells for me anyway.
Are we also gonna ignore the closer ties that Sony have with Spider-man due to the movie rights? Guessing that's a lot of leverage, also didn'r Marvel offer a deal to MS first which they rejected? Yeah not even remotely comparable situations when you break it down.
Focus on just one console and PC, but don't they also have to cater to the weaker Series S? hmm.
'The prolific game director also revealed that Xbox itself has helped out on Starfield with the platform holder's top engineers working to make the game look the best that it can on Xbox Series X|S.'
Judging by the last trailer they showed off, they haven't done very well so far it seems.
How did one of the largest entertainments products ever outsell virtually every other game?
Imagine the 'great concern' and aNtIcOnSuMeR comments from the usual suspects if Sony did this lol.
Or we could go the other way, MS fans have been trashing COD for the last decade, now that they are potentially owning the IP it's suddenly the best game ever???
Both statements are false and just fanning the fanboy flames.
So why did MS never pay for it to be timed exclusive before? Do you have any idea how much cash they'd have to stump up for that? It sellers 70% of its sales on PlayStation, Activision have never had any reason to do that.
Pull a Sony? Pull your head out of Phil's rear more like lol.
Hurts them so much that that they can afford to splurge 68 billion.
Must be a pretty low bar reward.
Very divisive game, I enjoyed playing but did not enjoy Ellie's character this time, Abby I felt indifferent towards, I think the game should have been 5 hours or so shorter, started to feel like it dragged for me and I wasn#t the biggest fan of the story, despite this I'd still give it a solid 8.
It also has a much stronger exclusive library in the end, the good 360 exclusives stared to dry up after 2009/10, I swear it's like some people choose to only remember 2006-8 of that gen on purpose lol.
In fairness, NST, CTR and Crash 4 were all great, given how MS have handled Banjo for instance, I don't have much faith.
