'Not really it's as simple as Sony is the one intimidating developers in japan to not develop for the Xbox. There is a reason congress wants to investigate their anti-competitive practices in Japan from Sony.'
Where's the evidence to back up this claim? Biased US politicians, one of which I'm pretty sure funds their campaign? Very impartial.
A lot of these types of games either don't sell on Xbox, or not like they used, yeah some s...
Your 'logic' and mental gymnastics here is astounding.
Gotta laugh at the xbox fanboy cheerleading for industry consolidation, what a sad time in gaming we live in.
Disappointing behaviour =/= trying to protect your business and large consolidation of the industry by an enormous company.
And they will still have to cater to the much weaker series S as well.
They are like the Borg collective, brainwashed by Phil, turned in to gamepass drones.
'It's very silly when MS has to explain why its first party IPs aren't available on competing platforms.'
This is not the issue, the actual issue is they keep going on about being 'for gamers', not taking games away from the competition, exclusives being bad, making it accessible as possible, all while they are trying to buy a huge publisher with this narrative.
Then the word came from the horses mouth here showing that this is ob...
So let's see, Naughty Dog and Insomniac.
Two studios who worked almost exclusively only with Sony before being purchased. ND worked on the original Crash trilogy and CTR with Sony, Insomniac the same with Spyro, then Ratchet and Clank, a 20 year old long standing Sony IP, then of course the latest Spider-man games. Sony bought them for what, a few hundred million?
So how in any way is this comparable to Bethesda or Activision? Two huge publishers with...
This, is not meth *boom*
@dom
It sets a precendent though, what if in say 5 years not much has changed, should MS then be allowed to buy up another massive publisher or 2 for the sake of 'competition'? They aren't entitled to bigger market share, but of course in typical MS fashion they are trying to buy it and not earn it.
Eh, I'm a lifelong crash fan and this does nothing for me, as fox said it just looks very generic which is disappinting after the excellent Crash 4.
I think this now gives Sony justification to buy loads of studios for the sake of competition.
Got a barrel here without the bottom, looks like it's been scraped out.
So this crap didn't die with Matsuda? *sigh*
@darth how is it a dumb request? He was implying that having some timed exclusives was the same as spending 80 billion on massive publishers, I'm not envious at all, I'm just calling out the obvious BS and holes in that argument that the sites Xbox cheerleaders keep parroting.
Pretty sure there is an array of majini in RE5 with different skin tones purely to avoid a stereotype or any 'racist' implications, has the writer even played the game? Load of nonsense.
'This strategy is how Sony became the biggest player in the game today. They're not comfortable with being on the receiving end now.'
Please show me an example of when Sony spent almost 80 billion buying up 2 huge publishers. This and a few timed exclusives you mention is nowhere near close to what MS are doing, it's a false equivalence.
Lol who's alt account are you I wonder.
@Bandar
You're talking about very niche games, some without much marketing at all,
"It's clear that people are not playing them so it needs to come on gamepass so that people can actually have access to play them."
Ah yes, give a game away for free, what a perfect response to underwhelming sales, while ignoring how niche the games are and how little the marketing was.
"In the meantime, a shadow-...
