And 'Best Audio Design'.
It's interesting to see a certain company's presence really missing in these awards.
I'm sure Geoff Keighley has no personal favoritism towards a game where he makes a cameo appearance. These awards are straight up! /s
This is why I really like Xbox these days. It's all about choice.
Right, but for most people, they will need to possibly upgrade to a new graphics card at the very least, which would more than likely be an RX 5700XT or RTX 2070 Super at minimum, at a rough cost of $400 - $500 USD at least. If you buy anything less than that, then good luck playing next generation games on VR. Many other people may need to upgrade their PCs entirely. Then, you have the cost of the full VR kit with the controllers, which will run you $1,000.00 USD, and then the cost of the ga...
Oh right, how can I forget all of the critically acclaimed VR games that you've been spending all of your time playing, since VR made its big splash.…. I mean seriously!
Well in that case, you will finally have a reason to use your equipment, which you most certainly paid big money to purchase.
I believe what they should do is dispose of this franchise all together and shut down the studio completely.
Of course captain...Data, take us to warp 9.
Who is going to invest in big money to play this game in VR, particularly on PC? When you add up the costs, the price of admission is absolutely huge, just to play one game. The customer base for this technology is small, and there are many people out there who aren't interested in gaming with a large headset, covering their eyes and ears.
Stadia will appeal to people who don't research and compare products, otherwise known as uninformed consumers. This type of consumer is swayed by fancy ads on youtube and other marketing nonsense.
Who was it who had the massive customer information/credit card breach back in 2011?
I don't trust Google enough to give them my credit card number.
Certainly, as far as Google Stadia is concerned, Microsoft has indeed flipped the script, and they've got some great momentum heading into the next generation. The question that should really be asked, is whether Microsoft can flip the script on Sony, who hasn't had much to announce over the last year, and who has been riding the continued marketing wave for TLoU2, Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams, for what seems like the last 3-5+ years. Sony's price change on PS Now is encouraging, ...
The last time I played Reach was many years ago, and I always like to go back and play the classics. I was actually playing BF3 lastnight and having a great time. Most newer games have not interested me for at least the last 4 years or so, and so going back to older games it what I prefer to do.
I'm going to go deep into this game, once I finish playing through TLoU. This looks awesome!
Notice that Rainbow Six Siege is their most popular game, and yet it has stayed away from the copy/paste open world mission structure that we've seen them implement in all of their other big game franchises. I want an old-school Ghost Recon game, a proper Splinter Cell game with serious thought put into the missions, and I want Far Cry to go back to the more survivalist/ in the mud/ getting dirty/ realistic type of game that Far Cry 2 was trying to be. I don't want leveled enemies, an...
I wish I could download Resistance: FoM, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Motorstorm and Motorstorm Pacific Rift. Make it happen Sony!
Not to mention that Backwards Compatibility is also pro-consumer, avoiding the need for Re-Mastered games.
It's great to see games like Death Stranding, Nioh, Nier: Automata, Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain, and Shenmue 3 on PC or coming to PC soon. Also, it's great to see games from Yakuza, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy coming to Xbox. This is great for all gamers.
