Hopefully a major jump in performance is around the corner, for new GPUs. The price should be more down to earth also, since 4K is apparently 'mainstream' now. Nobody wants to pay more than $1,000.00 USD for a card that just manages to play new games at 4K/60ish +/- on max settings. The worst part is that we aren't even into next generation games yet.
Just another scared reviewer, who doesn't want to get mobbed. Enough with the nonsense already.
You don't know it yet, but you'll be playing on an Xbox next gen son.
Edit: And I'll be playing on PC. Either way you look at it, it's evolution in the making.
Greenberg worried about PS5? Nah, forget about it, he's got much better thing to do!
I am a fantastic grown up, and I have a very exquisite taste in video games. However, this game really doesn't look like it's for me, so no, definitely not for grown ups.
Will Xbox get their swagger back over the course of the next year? It sure seems like it.
XO19 and some of Spencer's comments have got me feeling a little excited. E3 is going to be super exciting.
@ naruga
"what are their standards??"
Fun gameplay.
Fake news. Xbox fans were oohing and aahing, not booing.
I'm sure if a Studio like Remedy would become available, they would make another acquisition, but they really do have a good number of descent studios now. Also, I think that most of the good studios on the small to medium sizes have already been acquired. My guess, is that we will see acquisitions on a much larger scale next time around, like an EA or Ubisoft, and not necessarily with Microsoft making these moves. Google, Apple and Amazon are also in the mix of potential buyers.
I love the fact that you will be able to stream the games you already own. Looks like a pretty versatile system.
ODST has such a thick atmosphere compared to all of the other games. It's the best campaign IMO.
Day one.
They are both great game series, each with it's own flavor.

I'll let you know :D

Spencer was the guy who steadied the ship, after Don Mattrick did a disastrous job of launching the Xbox One. It was the $499.00 price point compared to Sony's $399.00 price point, and their focus on all around entertainment as opposed to being focused on what they should have been focused on, which was their messaging on delivering great games.
Their attitude about 'always online' and how used games would be a thing of the past also kil...
@ Nyxus
Don't worry about Xbox, they have a completely different business model that they are building compared to what Sony is doing. They will sell consoles, but sales will probably similar to what they were this gen unless there are a couple of massive games that they can make outside of their traditional system selling games, which is certainly possible with all of the studios they have now. Otherwise, they are going after every device you can play a game on, includ...
For me personally, I'm still deciding if I want to buy a PS5 or not. I mainly game on PC these days, so with almost everything coming to PC, including games from Halo, Gears, State of Decay and Forza series, along with other new I.P.s that Microsoft will be developing, it does probably make more sense to get the PS5.
If Sony brings back the Resistance series, and perhaps somehow manages to get one of their studios to do a proper job on bringing back the Socom series, t...
There has never been a good Star Trek game unfortunately. I think that the original Bioware team could have done a perfect job, based on what they did with Mass Effect.
@ Shiken
If that were the case, then they wouldn't be allowed to sell their shares in any stock exchange around the world.
