Cool, what specs do you have?
I have an OG Xbox One, and to me, if you were to split it in half, and then put those two halves together to form a rectangle, that is essentially the size of the Xbox Series X. The thickness might bother some people, but it doesn't look much thicker than my stereo receiver, so it should fit alright in my TV cabinet.
With great power, comes the great responsibility to make sure that it gets the proper cooling it needs, which is why it has the shape that it does. Corsair released a similar design not too long ago, with the Corsair One, and by most standards, this is a small form factor PC.
As soon as I saw the GodFall trailer, it was pretty obvious to me that this was a Quantum Theory rip-off. We've been waiting for Dreams, since it was first announced way back in 2013, and then you have TLoU2 and Ghost of Tsushima, which have been in Sony's sizzle real videos for the last 3 or 4 years now.
Beyond that, Hellblade 2 looks killer, and Halo Infinite will be a top quality sci-fi shooter, which is something that Sony hasn't had on the PS4, not exclusi...
How small do people expext a system that will have 10+ Tflops of processing power should be? If it were any smaller, it would probably overheat. It will be interesting to see what kind of form factor Sony goes with. If it's smaller, it will most certainly be less powerful, based on the cooling need for this tech.
The thing with Microsoft's new Mini ITX PC-like build, is that it is a tried and true PC design that they know can handle the necessary cooling that this...
"devs got to feed their families"
and.... they got to buy new cars, and buy new houses, and buy vacations to destinations around the world... Cut it out with the "feed their families" nonsense, as if they're struggling to stay alive or something. Nothing worse than bleeding hearts for people who make a great living, working in a great industry.
Cool story bro.
Perhaps Stadia is your thing.
Impressive. I will have to give the first one a go.
Looks pretty cool, almost like a mini PC tower.
I wouldn't use Call of Duty as any kind of test for your reflexes. The net code for this game has always been poor, and is the worst in the business. Go play some BF3, and I think you'll have a better idea of your capabilities. I,m in my 40s, and when I get zoned-in on BF3(among other games), I can wreck the competition, and thats with far less playtime than I used to have.
Looks like kojima has developed quite the cult, over this boring video game. I'm not sure a Hollywood elitist is someone who I would trust, when it comes to anything to do with celebrating achievement in video games, or people in the video game industry.

"More powerful than you"
Only because the Xbox One X is a 4K console (3840 x 2160 resolution), and that is what it was built for. The PS4 Pro is underpowered for 4K @ 4.2 Tflops, which is why they do checkerboard rendering, otherwise, there are many games that are rendered from the developer @ 1440p on the Pro (2560 x 1440 resolution), and then upscaled to 4k, which is the perfect output range for the Pro. It's just too bad that they don't make televisions for the Livingroom, that output at 1440p.
This cheaper Xbox is probably aimed at 1080p, and with 4TB of processing power, like the PS4 pro. The rumor is that you can hook it up to a 1440p computer monitor if you so choose, and the console will output at that resolution. I suppose this makes sense, since most gaming, whether PC or consoles, is still done at 1080p.
Even myself, I still used a Sony 46" 1080p TV in my livingroom, which I bought way back in 2010, but it still has great picture quality and it's ...
The peasantry is strong with this one...
Come on ladies & gents, both consoles were weak when they launched, but with the PS4 Pro, it's a 4K console, that doesn't really do 4K and didn't come with a 4K Blu-ray player. Let's just keep this clean and simple with the facts, and acknowledge, that the only impressive console hardware on the market right now, is the Xbox One X. Beyond that, consoles don't hold a candle to mid-range or higher PC hardware. I have no problem having fun, and enjoying a little bit of pe...
What was the user score before Metacritic deleted the negative reviews yesterday, 5.7?
