Salt. If they did invest for first party launches the interest in Bethesda would be minimal. The acquisition didn’t happen overnight. It takes time to offer and deal. MS didn’t slack on first party launch titles to save for the Bethesda purchase, which is what your suggesting? A launch game with a 50 million dollar budget is fractional to 7.5 billion. Wasn’t uncharted 4 budgeted at 50 million? If MS wanted to show titles prior to the Bethesda acquisition, they would have. The titles currently...
I’m happy it works for Phil’s image- the guy who sells a hidden trick up his sleeve but never shows it and make that common smirk on his face 😏. Finally, I mean FINALLY, his words and body language have an honest basis. It is a big acquisition, possibly the largest in first part history in one go. In the long term it’s a big delivery for Xbox as a brand. In the short term, little for the console manufacturer with IPs continuing as multi platform. What those studios can bring for poten...
Id love it to continue, as it’s an great feature for newcomers to experience old games, which I enjoyed fervorously as a kid. But at the same time, why stop bc/upscale with the One to all of a sudden resume with the x/s series. Shouldn’t it have continued if it’s part of the same ‘ecosystem’? Why stop bc/upscale with xbox platform to resume gen 6 bc games with the new generation? To me it’s senseless to resume it on the Xseries as if it wouldn’t work for the One consoles. If it were to conti...
Oh no you didn’t!
The names are very confusing from one to another, and I often have to re-read comments to understand which console/performance standard being spoke upon. Like you said for example, “discontinued the all digital one s”, and mention “all digital series s.” I’ve been gaming for over 25yrs now as I approach 30, and its a lot to wrap my head around requiring some rereading to fully understand the topic of conversation. To say the average soccer mom walking into the game store to buy the new Xbox f...
They removed PS2 comparability because they couldn’t sell a PS1, PS2 and PS3 “all in one” console with a ‘ahead of its time’ Blu-ray drive, built in WiFi, rechargeable controllers, and free online play for $600. At the time it was a steal for value, but most people weren’t willing do drop $600 for that PS1-3 console when for $400 the 360 could do essentially the same (except WiFi, buying AA batteries, and paying for online play. So Sony reduced their production cost by cutting the PS2 out (w...
Because there are over 80 million ps3s that were sold. If you are a gamer you have one. If you want to play those games you can buy one. If you had one and sold it, your an idiot. Sony doesn’t owe you anything. If for whatever reason cannot get another PS3, you have ps now. Gosh, the amount of “why doesn’t Sony hire these guys to” is getting cringey. If you wanted to play PS3 games, you would either have a PS3 or play on PS Now. I have 3 PS3’s and over 170 physical games for it
Not on the PS4 pro? Almost positive they stream at 1080p but I could be corrected. Looks gorgeous on my pro and 4k 65 inch Samsung!
Ok thanks. The same collector said they did a second run, which he grabbed 2 then. But I jumped at the opportunity to grab 4 of the first run. Hopefully they will spike in collector value. I paid $40 each copy and they are worth about $60 now. I forget the name of the site that shows game values on the condition. But all of mine are sealed. It’s anyones guess to how many are still sealed. Seen some on eBay people re-seal and try to sell it as a new copy, but they lack the sticker with the ser...
Their tucked away in my closet. I think it was an A, 2 B’s and a C. Another collector speculated each letter was a run of 1000, but not exactly sure
I have 4 sealed copies of the first run of Class of Heroes 2G on PS3. They were pre order only from Monkey Paw and have their own serial number
I paid full price. It’s a great game for the genres absence. Maybe $30 would be better, but I don’t mind the additional $10 to support a studio where other big names were abandoned. It’s like playing Skate in freeskate. There’s 6 developer maps and 3 community made maps. Some are small locations only worthy of a quick skate session, others are big and have great street spots to go back to. I’d love to see what else Easy Day studios adds post launch
Lev is a kid. She asked similar curiosity questions Ellie did in the first game, like about the ice cream truck in part 1. The only difference is Levs community doesn’t touch “old world” items. Asking about a quarter $ isn’t out of place for where she came from
Yea top 1# in KZ2. Another hard one I got was “I am Bad Company” in bfbc1. Also “To the Victor” in mx vs atv unleashed encore. I think I’m one of 400 achievers for that one. Boosting that trophy is a challenge in itself
But that’s who Gabe is. He’s always been like that. He’s an opinionated and loyal guy. His games only launched on the 360 for consoles last gen, aside from from portal 2, when he announced it at Sony’s e3 starting with “now most of you know I’ve been very outspoken with this generation of consoles, here’s portal 2 for PS3” or something along the lines of that. It was almost in an unprofessional manner, but it was very raw words that make sense Gabe Newell Gabe Newell. It was even ea that port...
The games a masterpiece. Even though there’s moments that are heavy hearted and really mess with the players emotions, it’s excellent writing. I had tears in Part 1, I had tears in Part 2. It’s a cruel world that cordyceps brought humanity. A hard world it is. A quote “I know you wish things were different. I wish things were different, but they ain’t.” Thats the world. It’s called The Last of Us for a reason. It takes some understanding
The gameplay video was actually pretty good imo. The graphics of the game didn’t match Kz Shadow fall from 7 years ago. 343i has more work on that part, but the gameplay looked good anyway. Everyone’s ripping it apart for graphics, which is a clear understanding. But the gameplay itself looks fun, and I don’t own an xb1. However is Sony first party praised an FPS game that had high hopes for, then showed us a game that can’t match the standards of 2013, I’d be disappointed
Closed minded people. Some not believing Ellie was the main character, some not believing it’s a story of revenge not love, some not believing the game will have sad moments, some not believing when Neil said “it’s not meant to be comfort food” as the first wasn’t either, some not believing that the game series takes place in a brutal world and instead enjoy it for narrative. But when people got the game and found out that they’ve been lying to themselves about what to expect and ignoring eve...
I loved concrete Genie, yes!
Well no... I can agree with Greenburg. It doesn’t matter if game prices go up and it’s also on gamepass. That’s IF it’s on game pass day 1, like as if every game title release will be on gamepass day 1. It doesn’t matter from that angle. Gamepass has 200+ games currently, but more that 200 games release each year from single A to AAA. That can be a problem if you’re trying to sell games. Other console manufacturers aim to sell their consoles based off the games they deliver. 2 manufacturers d...
