Disagree on the smaller projects , or at least confused. Sony does focus on smaller projects, and then they don’t sell. Concrete Genie, one of my favorite games of last year. Medievil remake also came out last year too. It’s like everyone in the PlayStation camp only cares about big budget titles and the author doesn’t even mention what’s available for small scale games

I also recently replayed thps1 on the ps classic using a flash drive. “The game” has been released for multiple platforms over 2 decades with graphical style from 18 different platforms prior to this announcement. When I downloaded these titles for free about two years ago, they were free free. No subscription or credit card required as I’ve never been a Microsoft subscriber. I was also able to download Too Human for free iirc

They offer good gameplay. Value for dollar I can’t complain, but the single player game lacks historical accuracy. They did a good job realizing their reveal mess up. The updates since chapter 4 have been great!

Tbh I’m a little ticked. TLoU2 release date was originally in February. 2 weeks after they revealed the release date it was delayed until April. Now it’s delayed again, and I was really looking forward to the game. Just took the wind outta the sail for hype, though I understand the circumstances. I also co-owned a wii, but who didn’t have one at one point or or another.
For that reason my last Nintendo was the 64. It just wasn’t economic to play on Nintendo when I was younger. I jumped ship, found my favorite franchises and never looked back. It’s only insane if you’re willing to pay for it 😜
Why risk it? Remove doubt and buy physical. I always have. Your risking your investment or ownership rights otherwise. I can’t fathom why someone would prefer digital over physical. It’s like keeping your money on a sidewalk instead of at a bank. It just doesn’t make sense if games are something you care about. My games will be on a shelf, my money will be at a bank. But my digital games and the stack of cash on the sidewalk will one day be taken from me if I don’t possess it
